Everything is goiing perfect!Hello everyone- hope you all stayed safe today. The kids had no school today, and I am REALLY hoping they do tomorrow. Wow.
I want to say thank you all so much for your advice and encouragement. I can't believe what a bunch of sweethearts I have found here.
Well here is an update- Nothing. I have been checking all day and listening, but nothing. Last night they were tapping away like a bunch of little typewriters and rocking away, and today maybe I saw a wiggle out of one of them. Last night when I went to bed 4 of them were rocking. Hope nothing is wrong.
Maybe once all of these little ones go to bed I will be able to hear something. Otherwise the temp is around 99 and the humidity is going between 55 and 57.
Thanks again everyone!
Oh my! Dare I say congrats.Evening To All....and wouldn't you know it the 10" actually showed up like I knew it would. Suzie ended up not being scared at all, but she says it's closer to 12" ! Talk about a proud forecast...it's heaven again here on the hill. I'll prolly clean up the mess tomorrow...that's just me.
Nice video Cind... thanks for the holistic stuff you sent! Talk about pungent! me and Suzie laughed about the fact that we are the last on the rural route. My mail smelled like pennyroyle as well as the whole house....the mail lady musta been lookin around in the car all day for "what's that smell" LOL!
Anything special I need to do with this good stuff ? Wonder what would happen if you smoke the stuff? Not that i would...just sayin.
I'd keep em safe and warm in the house judge. One burned out or failed light and the peeps are doomed...just sayin.

I have never seen a pastel call drake..have a picture?I guess I should get my butt in gear and separate my lavender orpingtons into a breeding pen. I'm also working in silver barnevelders so need to get them separated.
Someone gave me a pastel call drake yesterday! Its my favorite call duck color. I'm very excited to breed him with my blue fawn hens. Now I have too many drakes. I'm considering rehoming my black bibbed one as well as the white drake that Dennis Fuller gave me. But he's got such personality I probably should keep him. Maybe I'll have to have a duck bachelor pad this year.
