Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Watching the snow blow in, very pretty, but I'm honestly quite ready for spring to hit. :)

Had some handling time with the chickens and ducks which DS2 absolutely adores. Couple pics of him with one of TerriO's ducks - think this is a drake, looks like he's got a black spot coming in on his head. Man these guys grow FAST!

Am I here? Doc no skipping over my posts. I asked a question about how long do I let the broody keep the 5 eggs that haven't hatched. What's the trick again to check for viability?

glass of 100 degree water...if the egg is good,,it floats and the chick will wiggle the egg in the water..I am sure there are more..

Thanks for the heads up..I called my neighbor and left a message..who was looking for flowers? I was going to pick up a few Marans and Ameracauna chicks

That is if this snow stops any time soon..
I had to shovel to get out the door..my door was blocked with snow half way up..I started to panic..Than I had to shovel to into the chicken coops..ugh
