Quote: Thanks for the offer to do that Gallus, but Cindlady's roo isn't a pure wheaten so I wouldn't want to use him for breeding. If you hold on a few months yet I'm sure one of us on here will have some Ameraucana chicks for you!

keep an eye on craigslist for such things, also check auction listings for your area. People dont bid high on sheds, etc because they are not so mobil. I bought mine for 300 bucks, and then 100bucks to move it home.(find the local guy that sells sheds and get a quote to move one) it's a 8x10 wood play house that was turned into a garden shed, that I turned into a hen house.another gray day here in western wisconsin. at least it isn't snowingor bitter cold!!! I am certainly getting spring fever though!!.. Chicks coming in a few weeks... ssssooooooo excited and nervous;-)!! but need to make some "coop changes"... i cringe because I can already hear the hubby grumbling... and how much $$ has been spent already.....sigh.......
Anyone know of any sheds or playhouses that are not being used anymore that someone is looking to get rid of that could be converted???
