Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

another gray day here in western wisconsin. at least it isn't snowing:) or bitter cold!!! I am certainly getting spring fever though!!.. Chicks coming in a few weeks... ssssooooooo excited and nervous;-)!! but need to make some "coop changes"... i cringe because I can already hear the hubby grumbling... and how much $$ has been spent already.....sigh.......

Anyone know of any sheds or playhouses that are not being used anymore that someone is looking to get rid of that could be converted???

Getting garden fever too:) gonna start seeds this weekend!!!!!!

keep an eye on craigslist for such things, also check auction listings for your area. People dont bid high on sheds, etc because they are not so mobil. I bought mine for 300 bucks, and then 100bucks to move it home.(find the local guy that sells sheds and get a quote to move one) it's a 8x10 wood play house that was turned into a garden shed, that I turned into a hen house.
a little paint and an inside wall to hold the nesting cupboard.

Thank to the good mommys that offered help with my misery, ie Judge, Terri. My kids are both puking so we are trying your advice today.

my problems are farther south than my stomach let's just say.

Wife went back today after 6 days of this creeping crud.

Way too much TV watching here today, but it makes the sick kids sit still.

Anyone here able to get me started with some comfrey this spring??
I have a large patch of what I was told is comfrey,,all you need is a shovel full to get it started..

IDK if I have a picture of it.. I will wander through my photos and see..

Just back from the feed store in town here. They have a display right when you walk in the door for their Tour D'Cluck poultry workshop. Twain will be there doing it.
t's March 21st from 6:00 - 8:30 pm if any locals are interested. At Marathon Feed on Hwy 107.

Quote: Great! I'll have to stop by in spring then with a shovel and a bucket!!

Hey Jim... wondering what the dimensions are on your sportsman incubator?? They are the same size as the Dickey I believe. Want to see if it will fit easily into my small SUV.

Thanks!
