snowy afternoon

, we have around 4 inches so far, waiting for the kids to get home from school- they dismissed them at 1 pm today- should have just canceled altogether!

DH is starting to get the equiment around to go start snow removal- he cleaned off our driveway and did our neighbors diriveway as well- she does daycare and will have parents coming to pick up before her husband is home from work.

Busy week last week- had 2 days to get a house ready for the new tenants- painting top to bottom and cleaning. The kids had activities on the weekend-both Sat and Sunday- DD had show choir and jazz band competations on Sat and volleyball most of Sun. DS(11) had soccer on Sun. so DH and I were in 2 different directions

We are up to about 20 gallons of maple sap- depending on how the week goes we may start to boil it down into sap, as the weather is suppose to warm up above freezing later this week.

hoping our new thermostat makes it here before Friday so that we can get the wine-bator back up and running- have eggs in our smaller incubator that will be at day 18 on Friday

the one that we ordered isn't working correctly so the company is sending out a new one

These are more pictures of the other batch that I ordered..
She contacted me today and said she is moving them to a different pen with more light so they lay better. So far one hen is laying.....she knows they will start any time now. She was hoping for the Easter hatch. Looks like it is going to be end of April.

It just started snowing here about 2 PM..

we got our first guinea egg of the season..

I don't know how to behave with my new freedom.. I went to breakfast in town.. killed the whole morning..

bought a pound of screws and a few impact drill screwdriver bits.. If these fail after just 6 screws, I can get my money back..

My Polish Tolbunts came yesterday. 8 eggs all together. It should be interesting. I think I have 2 Crele eggs and perhaps the rest of them are frizzle polish? She mentioned she has them, but I'm not sure what her abbrev mean.

Im waiting on the Lav Ameracaunas next. I sure wish I had my incubator to use... Nudge at Terri O. I didn't realize Terri was waiting until June to hatch some eggs...

Better go. Second child with stomach flu yesterday day moved into issues at the other end all day. I have to figure out how to fix this problem. The antidiahreal pills didn't take care of it...

Have you tried the B.R.A.T.T diet with him? Bananas, Rice, Apples(no juice), Tea and Toast(dry). Hope he feels better soon!
