Hey... If I got my hands on any Chocolate bantys, do you think hershey could use him? You know, technically large fowl chocolate orps are not over here yet. All bantams. You want to go into the LF chocolate orp creation project with me??? :-D

Real quick now, those not on my Facebook, today is the workshop day. Halden's 30+ hrs of in home therapy gets kicked off by having 7 therapists and clinicians at my house for the day. They play and work with Haden all day. They use today to set things up everything up policy wise, schedule wise, supply wise. The line therapists are to have 40 hrs of supervised training before working with a child alone. Today will be the start of training day for 2 of them as well. We've chose the Wisconsin Early Autism Project for his therapy. WEAP seems to be our best chance at success for the future. I'll take any prayers and well wishes that today starts a journey that unlocks my little boy. He's a sweet one for sure. And in case you didn't notice, I can be a force to be reckoned with. Halden WILL get there because failure isn't an option. (Also God is good and has special plans for my little guy!) gotta go clean like a mad woman!
Good luck today, hoping all goes well!

Are you getting some bantam choco orp eggs from the swap?? I've got some coming sometime as well. I'm hoping to get them as chicks instead of eggs, keeping my fingers crossed for that.

Greenie McWoozy is my stage name today. Happy St Paddy's Day to all!! I've got the corned beef and cabbage just standing by! Also will make some Colcannon with some of the cabbage and some kale, too. Irish soda bread is like cake to me so I made 2 loaves! A little Gaelic Storm and a little Baileys and I'm set for the evening.

Just got back from my travels today - I brought CC's rooster home with me from Beaver Dam. Thanks to Terri O for transporting him. In honor of St Paddy's Day I have named him Danny Boy. He is soooooo beautiful. I'm sure the girls will swoon when they meet him later this evening!

So....here's a picture of the BYC Cheeseheads from the small animal sale in BD this morning: (L to R) Terri O, Irishrovr (Eileen), Zeke (Rick), and the cuties (Melanie and Scott). Dang it was cold out there!
Thanks for sharing the pic - always good to put faces to names.

CC-thanks for collecting the lav eggs and I hope the crew mellows out soon! Actually the timing works well because I am getting my chicks from Delisha toward the end of April.

Bigfam-good luck and I pray for a manageable and productive outcome!

Apyl... she looks like my cinnamon queen (aka red sex link) looked like. They are less red , more browny red. Laid great for a while, but not as friendly as some others. Have not had much luck with sex links being friendly and that is a requirement with my coop.
X2......I had a few last year....one was very friendly...others not so much...Of coarse she was the 1st to to get picked off by our resident Eagle

ME, TOO!!! It started all of a sudden and it came down hard right away. C'mon spring!! I'm gonna wring Phil's scrawny little neck!

I'm in agreement . . . enough of the winter crap!! Jimmy (Sun Prairie's ground hog) lives near my brother, he says there are three of them in case something happens to one they have back up. I think something should "happen" to all three Jimmys!!

I pickled a quart of quail eggs once.. it took 50 eggs to fill the quart jar..

peeling them was a chore, for sure,,

but since I did it that way, I talked with a guy who said to soak the eggs in vinegar overnight,, the shell is supposed to dissolve and they squeeze out of the membrane like grapes.. ( was going to say zits) but I didn't ..

I bought a thermometer at F&F today.. it is going back.. it reads 5 degrees low.. no matter where I put it..in the bator., in the room ,, outside..

I should send it to UnkaDan,, seeing as he is up Nort where it is always colder,,
Or do I have him mixed up with somebody else ??

About 3 inches here..yuck. Just finished shoveling it off.
Ok dont know how many of you know about UW Swap. They are a resale shop for stuff from UW Madison (found or used) and they are located in Verona. They have a giant incubator for repair or parts. Dont know if this can help anyone, but thought I would post. This was on their facebook page:

Love going to SWAP - hubby's found lots of goodies for his woodworking shop, especially likes the wired AV cart for his planer.
