Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Come on weekend and part of the week, I want Wednesday to be here faster! I am hoping that my two ducklings arrive safely. They will be my first ducks! I keep looking at their pen as I walk past to let our dogs out. Figured setting it up early would help my dogs ignore it more when there are actually little girls in there. Now they walk by and don't even look at it.

Also just saw the latest weather report and no more snow for tomorrow! Yay!

are we really going to encourage him?

Dan, I can only agree with you! GUYS, this is only Jim thinking he is being ignored so we all fawn over him! Geez Jim---

You KNOW we read your posts...I think it was YOU that said you didnt read all of them!

We got to go for a horse back ride today....it was a bit chilly but so nice to be out.

Then hen didnt talk the babies into jumping down from the rafters yet...I suppose as long as I keep giving them food and water up there she wont come down. I am waiting just a little bit in case the last egg decides to hatch. I gave it a little shake and it didnt seem sloshy so I still have hope for it.

I guess I better go downstairs and see what I can cook for dinner....I am thinking chicken, black bean casserole!
MMMMM!

Have a good night! TerriOkindahungrysmellingtheNOTglutenfreebrowniesthefamiscurrentlyeating!

Oh come on guys... Jimmy's mom just passed. We can encourage him for a little bit! (We know he's a grumpy old geezer with questionable taste in footwear, an undiagnosed poultry and fowl incubation addiction for part of the year, and loves the title "Master Bator")

yeeees Jim, I'm going to collect club dues for the Jimbo Fan Club, I'll give your cut to Annie

Actually got to get outside with DS4 this afternoon and spend some quality time drawing on the driveway, scoopin and stompin some snow, riding in the wheelbarrow, watching geese fly overhead.... just so stinking happy it went over freezing. I nearly broke out the shorts and t-shirts!

Moved up the last chicks from the little brooder in preparation for the Easter hatch coming up. Will probably have to put an ad on craigslist if the hatcher is as successful as the incubator has been or feed the snakes chicken dinner, I guess. With the price hike in rodents this year, may be better off stuffing the incubator full of eggs!

Saw this on FB, right up my ally in humor:

punny stuff.

I had to explain it to my DS6 once he understood, He is all in on this humor. Thanks!

Hi all. So...I moved! And I FINALLY have internet! Wahoo! I miss being down birds, but am so happy that my EE (her name is Owl) today gave me her first egg--and it's such a lovely new-grass green color! The other three are laying well too, and I can't wait to get into the backyard and dig out some garden space. I've got my garden all graphed out and bought most of the seeds and have been playing with the soil block maker a bunch.

I decided that Owl's contribution was a wonderful homage to today...because tonight at 8:30 we're joining in the Earth Hour celebrations. The candles are all out on the porch and I think seed starting by candlelight sounds like a wonderful thing. I spent the day with a friend romping around the muddy dog park with Dash and put in about a cool million job applications because I desperately need a new job. The one I have is a soul-sucking wasteland and I'm ready for a change!

Anyway, I do hope everyone is doing well, and I'll see you on the flip side!

Evening To Everyone....the sun indeed felt great today. I managed to get one of the apple trees pruned today. It was a challenge trying to set up the ladder in 3 feet of snow. I'm happy to finally get the pruning started.

I sure hope the snow is gone by Bash time. Actually we keep it plowed every time it snows. The camp is rented out almost every weekend all winter long...kinda pretty back there in the woods. Besides we all just love plowing snow....LOL! The reason we book Camp a year in advance is because it's booked that far out. I'll have available dates for next year, at the Bash this year, if folks want to reserve again.

Time for the lazyboy. Thanks again for sharing pics. I loved the early Robin with the stuck tounge.

Have Fun...bigz
