TO I posted a pic on those strawberry plants in the rain gutters on FB a while back, and then had to look up the plans! Pretty cool! THANK YOU for posting the verification of words...... the one that gets me is exchanging mute for moot.......

So where would one find Kukui Nut oil in WI in the NE section of the state?

What kind of citizens are we producing these days when children have nothing to do but play mindless games and never learn the essentials or 'life skills' in order to survive? Seriously? You live in my house you WILL help out. You will do dishes, learn to cook, wash clothes, clean floors, take care of the animals, etc etc etc..... I am not your personal slave. If you refuse and I pick up your things they will disappear, you will not have clean clothing to wear, there will be no TV or computer time or games of any kind..... even a 5 yr old can put a dish in a dishwasher..... heck kids can do a LOT more than we give them credit for.

They have the kukui oil on Amazon.com for $19. It's the oils of aloha brand, the same kind I bought in Maui. It's good stuff.

How much torture do you want me to self-inflict?

A new puppy AND a new baby, at the same time?!?! We plan to seriously look next year. Sure is a cute little buggar though.

Question for Dan: my lettuce turned bitter in the heat so I cut off most of the leaves but left the roots. Will they grow back un-bitter or do I need to do a secondary planting?

OK--I am back. I tarped and set up the elevator for tomorrow at 2pm...my friend Peggy(and JJ's

) is coming to help. Only 90 bales so not too bad. I am trying my best to get several more loads for the first weekend in August when the CUtie Clan is coming for the weekend! THey seem to LOVE to unload hay! (and Scott has the know how AND the muscles too

) I have been tossing about in my tiny brain about having a campfire party for the weekend...if anyone had read this post so far let me know what you think! Kind of a BYO party thing...camping in the yard, a little fire and company....

Good Evening everyone.

TO.... I was Ticked with a capital P meaning I was P!$$ED !!!!! Royally mind you !!! LOL Was trying to not be potty mouthed like someone else on here is all the time !!! lol

Well, went over to the lake. ET had gone over to talk to the neighbor next to the cabin. He is a 90 yr old retired electrician. Anyway, he called a friend who gave ET more instruction as to what wire goes where and NO LUCK AGAIN !!

The new switch had no instructions as to what each terminal went to. ET didn't write down what color wires went to each terminal when he took out the old switch. He just took one wire off at a time and put it on the new switch with corresponding letters. When he got it all wired up it didn't work. The MISTAKE he made was not writing down what he did before he disconnected the wires. Now he has no idea what goes where and the chart I posted earlier had different colors listed then what is actually on our boat.

So I have a call in to the place I bought the switch (in MA off Ebay) I know now I should have bought the frickin part in Rhinelander and talked to a real live person.... Would have cost me about $15 more in the end but saved me how much time?

Lost a crested magpie duck today. And two baby Muscovy's. One drowned and the other was just laying in the run. ???

Two baby guinea's were somehow trapped in the duck run trying to get out to the mama guinea and her other keets as they were walking by. I captured them and they are now in the house safe and sound. Two pied little keets. They were running in the mud and almost looked like I was going to lose one, it was doing the arched back and head leaning backwards thing like they do before they die. When I got back from the lake they were both running around like banchies in the tote. Amazing what some heat will do for them. Tomorrow I'm going to have to catch the other keets. Looks to be about 10 maybe more running around. Mama looks like purple of some sort and daddy lavender pied. All different colored keets, but they could belong to several mo

TO.... Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I may mess up now and then, but I always got A's in grammar, I even tutored a bit. Can't spell worth Sh!t, but I know my words and where they go. LOL I think the error here that bugs me the most is "then" instead of "than".
Some people use then rather than than. But then, it's not as bad as mixing up some other words on the list. Lesson over. Love you all anyway!

Yea, I saw that strawberry set up too. Real cool! DH has been wanting to do a raised bed set up for the last couple of years. I think I'll talk him into a tiered strawberry bed.

I ticked off Storkey and her kids today. I closed off the feed room again so no more "privet quarters" for them. They were making way too much mess in there! There is 48'+ of roost space, plus rafters and another room. They can find another place to sleep! Took a "baby count" tonight, still have 24 little ones! No losses since most of the moms left the chicks! Storkey (super mom) has the oldest batch and still tries to mother them! LOL They are as big as her and she still calls them for food and will defend them. But, they are "teens" now, and like all teens, don't always want to listen to mom. LOL

Got some weeding done too!

holy hats,, I am the only one on here.. even Cind went to bed.. I did too, but I couldn't sleep..
just had a small glass of Sangria,, might have to have another..

I need to look up info about my small tiller.. I have to find out something , anything, about lubricating the drive mechanics, It seized up on me while I was doing the new onion patch.. only 30 square feet of dirt..

And I need to know what kind of clutch it has..

I also need to get the serial number off of it,, but it is way down in the G H and I don't feel like getting dressed to go get it,, and unlike Sandi, I am not wandering around in the dark nekkit for the skeeters to chew me up..

My advice for replacing chicks, was for friends only..

Annie sold 2 baby cockatiels to a young guy,, both birds died.. today she found out why,, he left them outside overnight with no heat.. Ya think ? he wanted to buy others, but she is reluctant to sell him any more.. dip shet !!

I think that accident was reported on the news tonight,, no details,, so why even mention it ??
In fact I don't know for sure they were talking about that accident..
