Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Sounds like the TO gathering was fun once again. I think the only way I gonna clear my schedule to attend one of these things is to host.

Anybody looking for a big Tom turkey for thanksgiving? He could stay here til you are ready to cook him if needed. We do not have the crowd here to tackle that much Turkey meat. I am guessing he is 30-35 pounds now he may grow more by turkey day. We usually cook a 12-14 pounder and send leftovers home with visiters.

such a blast at TO's today..I ate and laughed and laughed some more. What a wonderful day with the best people..I wish more could have attended..I laughed so hard i was crying and snorting...

Yes! Yes, I wish you would have. It was so much fun just getting together and laughing. At who's expense, I won't mention.............. tapping foot if only I could........ But they all managed to leave with all their toes.

The food, drink and company all were wonderful, except for a failed attempt at a gluten free apple crisp. I swear I would starve if I couldn't eat gluten. Oh well. It will taste good enough in the morning with a cup of coffee. I'm still chuckling over the picture in my head of Vicki "serving" TO's DH a piece of it.

So sorry to hear about the little quackers.

Any pictures from the party at TO's??? Sorry I missed it. Sat is the only day my store is open now.

It was a dreary, windy day here, though the weather guy said it would clear up and be in the mid 40s. Liar, liar! Pants on fire!

Last night I integrated the two flocks of chickaroos. After they were all on the roosts awhile I took the Blues from the chicken tractor (kicking and screaming) and put them in the coop with the girls. There was some grumbling from the original coop inhabitants while the Blues nosed around and made themselves at home. Later on I looked in on them and they were all mixed together on the roosts. No drama in the morning either. The two groups came together for treats and then went their separate ways to forage. At dusk the girls were all cozy and chummy again. Clapton was by himself. Hmmmm... maybe they're showing him who rules this particular roost?

I love it when they all get along!

Hi All!

Glad everyone had a good time at TO's! Wish I could have come but too much to do here and too far in that big van! Probably would have cost $40 to get there and back, maybe more!

Sorry for the lost ducks and any other critters I may have missed. Good luck on the dog, sounds like you made progress already.

Nothing really new here, still trying to get ready for winter :( I need straw! Just got to get money, room and gas all at once! LOL

I decided I have allot of cleaning and updating to do on this old desktop ..... slow, and cluttered! It also hasn't been updated in 4 years!

Guess that's it, night all!

Sounds like a good time! Thanks for the chicken train!
We are being lazy with coffe :) and then will heading to terri's. Syd is sooo excited!

Amy, any signs of your duck?

Irish, I didn't even know you had new birds! What did you get?
