Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I need spikes on the bottom of my boots..that trail to do chores is slipper as can be..I lost two containers of water trying to catch my footing...Now it is a sheet of ice in one spot so I shoveled out a new path..lol

Casha did chores with me again today..It takes me twice as long, but worth it. She just loves to do chores.

It sounds like many of you have Christmas plans all going well. I have a party to go to today.

I talked to Joe today about stopping smoking and doing some child care..He said yes so I have a new goal..I need to purchase a few of those smokeless duhickys and stop smoking. It in print now..no backing out. Wish me luck.

All the best to you! I quit over 30 years ago and I've got to tell you it was the hardest thing I ever did. But I did it and it's been good! You can do it too - just stick with it and, if you backslide, get back on the horse and try again.

Had a chance to get the camera out today and shoot some pics.....

This is the area behind the school where I take the dogs for exercise...

Guess how many deer?

Does anyone know what this plant is?

Enjoy!

Yes best wishes on quitting! I quit over 20 years ago and agree it is the hardest thing I ever did. I know I can not start again because I could not stand the pain of quitting again. I used the patch and the 2nd time it worked. It was a free study offered by the UW. Funniest thing though is DH's job makes us do a health risk assessment and mine came back positive for nicotine. Now I have to give two people names so they can call them and verify my non-smoking, otherwise they will call me once a month for the next year to check up on my quitting progress, what a hoot...
Also Deli, be very careful on the ice, last winter I fell and even though i was checked out at the hospital with a CT Scan immediately afterwards, I was back there in 6 weeks having brain surgery. Same advice goes to all of you STAY UPRIGHT!!!!

The ice was beautiful today :) the smart phone does not do it justice!

How is the weather for all of you? Nothing happening here yet.

It is pure ice around here..I wore heels to the Christmas party so I had something to dig into the ice with...

I made my Date Cake yesterday. I love date cake. I try not to make it often because I will eat the whole cake. It is an ooyeegooy moist delectable yummy badness cake.

Happy evening all ~
Eggies work but aren much fun, and you end up with a flat top !
Christmas at MIL tonight was nice, kids obnoxious, I'm exhausted.
Good luck quitting smoking! I agree with the others, it's hard as heck but worth it.
I've decided to try to go gluten free for a month to see if it makes a difference in DS behaviors (and my aches and brain fog). Crossing my fingers, we need some changes and I'd like to try first before going to medications. Looks like that'll be our next step.
Nice work there Jim !
