I put a doggy pillow out on the floor for Dora.. the Puppy loves it.. go figure ..she still thinks it will swallow her ..

Annie is coming from work to pick me up in a few minutes, so I better get those birds watered ..

-20 this AM when the kids trekked off to school. Thankfully it will be warmer this afternoon, so the duckies can return to their outdoor digs.

I miss having them. Unfortunately the house is starting to smell a little 'ducky', and I cannot keep them in the house indefinitely. My younger DD wanted us to put diapers on them...... yeah NOT happening. Besides, some idiot would turn us in to the cops more than likely.....


I wandered over to the random ramblings thread and stumbled on the CL ad replies thread...... OMG! What a hoot! Gotta love CL! It always amazes me how trusting people can be.......

Time to get a move on. Still need to jump in the shower but at least I have my coffee made!

Yes Terri's birthday is Saturday, but I did not want to miss it.

DH & TO share a b'day! As I am saving up for a car, I don't know what to get him this year. I wanted to get a new TV, but I doubt that is in the budget!

Yep, TO's B day is the 11th...thought maybe you were eating extra brownies bl4, till you redeemed yourself.

I have 5 Wild Tom's hanging around the house....they are hungry for sure. They were eating the leftover wild dried grapes just 25' from the house this morning....those have to be real filling

the winter is gonna be along one for them.

Nothing new here...I have enough corn for another day, so I'm gonna make a feed mill run tomorrow when it's warmer out. We had -19f this morning...dang that's cold so many days in a row....bring on the thaw.

Suzie is making Jim's rolls today to go with a sirloin tip roast and garden carrots and spuds. The comfort food always goes good in the wintertime.

My redneck suet feeder (deer carcass) is almost completely gone. I have prolly a doz birds pecking on that all day long...woodpeckers,blujays,nuthatches,chickadees,starlings,and a lone crow I named Bill...

Angiebubs I loved the cake... you have one creative girl there Just spectacular.

On Tuesday I discovered a new way to bake pumpkin bread... in a CROCK POT! Never heard of such a thing! You put the batter in a loaf pan, place it in the crockpot, add two cups of water to the crockpot so the loaf pan is surrounded by it, and away you go! So moist! Necessity is the mother of all googling-for-a-new invention!

I can't wait to get the new heating element for our broken oven so I can burn myself on Jim's caramel rolls...

I just got finished with chores.. it is at least plus +10 F degrees out there,, and guess what ,,
it is still cold..

however I didn't have to come in to warm up.. now my fingers are so numb I can hardly type..

I took the battery out of the Blazer and cleaned all the connections real good.. put the charger back on and then fed the birds.. it charged up to 100% in that amount of time,, the car started right up..

which reminds me,, I left it running.. that should get it's juices loosened up..

I found a dead Del hen in the coop.. IDK what she died from, but she had hardly any weight to her..
maybe she is the one Annie said didn't look to well a few days ago..

NO DOUGH PIZZA!!!!!!! This one is a WINNER!!!!
Gluten Free, Low Carb, Diabetic Friendly!!!!!!
For when you absolutely want pizza but not all the carbs!!!!!!!

Crust
1 (8 oz) package of full fat cream cheese, room temperature
2 eggs
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Topping
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
toppings - pepperoni, ham, sausage, mushrooms, peppers
Garlic powder

Preheat oven to 350.

Lightly spay a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. With a handheld mixer, mix cream cheese, eggs, pepper, garlic powder and parmesan cheese until combined. Spread into baking dish. Bake for 12-15 minutes, our until golden brown. Allow crust to cool for 10 minutes.

Spread pizza sauce on crust. Top with cheese and toppings. Sprinkle pizza with garlic powder. Bake 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted.

Number 1. Deli it ain't pizza if there's no gluten all OVER that thing!

Number 2. Jim I don't know HOW you've been entertaining yourself without me, but I can guess. Something about HOT buns with some DRIPPY sauce all over it?! I didn't read if it was a salty vanilla looking sauce... Best I don't know.
