Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Here is a promising sign. These birds have been around for the last few weeks. Sorry about the quality, it is difficult to get closer without scaring them all away so I had to use my zoom. I count about 8.....

My husband has a job lined up in England for all of next winter (about 5 months). I want to go with, but not sure how that would work with the kids schooling. Maybe I'd have to home school for one year?

Talk to your current school about it. I know a woman who's 5th grade daughter went to live with her grandparents in Germany for half a year, started 5th grade in a school in Germany and then returned to Wisconsin and her local school in January! Seemed to work out well.

As I pulled into my neighborhood tonight, I saw around 30 crows in a flock. The birds in your picture must have decided the berries in the tree were all they could find, whether tasty or not, time to eat them.

1876, those are Robins in the pic.

Jim, did I miss something? Are you alright? I hope this is a minor procedure.

BigZ, congrats on 7 years!

BBP, what an adventure! Who would take care of your critters?

So happy to have Hulu and Netflix; right now we are watching the first season of Bonanza, episode 19 I believe.

Took some cookies out to LMiller today, and came home with a dozen duck eggs! I'll have to try them for baking, everyone keeps telling me how good they are.

They could be Pyrenese, Kuzack, Maremma, and a few other breeds. Just was wondering if they may be ones that could work with our current.
