Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I saw Terri post that she can't keep up on here and I agree! Can't wait for the Bash!

Just wanted to pop on and showcase our new addition. 15 months dog-free was worth the wait for this guy. 5yr-old GSD, pretty good with all the critters and likes the kids. He came with the name Adden (pronounced Aiden), we're unsure if we'll change it. He's really smart and obedient, and man is he swift. He'd be super at agility. Not bringing him to the Bash though, my hands will be full enough.

Evening To All...Beautiful dog Amy...I vote to keep his name....I would anyway.

Monthly meeting at the Camp. Busy like always with a lot of business discussed.

Raked a lot of leaves and walnut tree stuff today. I'll be raking maple leaves for the gardens next.

Nothing else new....time for the lazyboy...

Heather, where ya been?

Beautiful boy, Amy. I agree with Bigz & Sam: I'd keep his name too. Much easier for him right now, IMHO. He is learning a lot of new things/rules in his new environment. A new name might confuse or stress him out?

We have added 2 new kitties in our family in the last couple months. We kept their names since they were already 4 1/2 & 5 years old.

Puma, the fat, angry one:

And my sweetie, Zoey: she is tiny but she is 4 1/2 years old.

Here are some pics so you know why I say tiny. Here she is with 2 of her new big brothers:

Hi All!

Amy... If I ever had the oppertunity to pick a dog (like that will ever happen) I would get GS. We raised them as a kid and I still love them!

Nothing new.... Night All!

No, it is just more fun to torture each other on FB.

I was told by the rescue that when a dog begins a new chapter of its life, if the previous one was poor it is best to change their name so they have nothing to tie or remind them of it. I had changed the Springers name from Frodo to Dexter...... It was more fitting anyway.

State Sole & Ensemble tomorrow. Thank goodness it is in Point!

Better get up and get the coffee started.

Need some help fellow flock friends. I recently accidentally stepped on my mottled houdan's foot in the coop and poor thing immediately cried and limped. I brought it in, wrapped it and have left it inside now going on day 3. The both of us have actually enjoyed the bonding time.

I took off the wrapping last night and the foot is still bruised and the chick still refuses to walk on it. Any advise on what I shld do different. I have taken the wrap off as she seems to be more comfortable without it. Praying her foot is not broke. =(

Thanks for all your help.
