Good Morning all! ODrH it's 26 out there--that's not frigid! I would say that is a heat wave.
My DH was saying that it is supposed to get to 40 this coming week?
That would be great if it did...I might be able to get my barn pushed out...the bucket is UNDER the snow in the pasture! THat was bad planning on DHs part!
We had a great day yesterday--stayed in our jammies all day (well, I DID get dressed to go on a ride) and did absolutely nothing productive...just how it's supposed to be on Christmas! Ya know, I think in the "olden" days Sunday was like that...just hanging out with family, church, no work and a nice Sunday dinner with the whole family together around a nice table, and off to bed early to get ready for the WORK week. When did we all decide to change that anyhow? You got a day a week for it to be "just like Christmas" and everyone felt good and refreshed by the end of the day. (well, maybe the Mom didnt, she had to do the cooking after all...) I think I might have really liked times like that! Enough of my time travel....
Today I am taking all the dogs to the dogpark. They really need to run! Although they are all laying down and sleeping off their breakfast; I am sure they will be up and terrorizing the cats very soon! I am wondering if there will be many people there?
My DS22 just got up...he is taking a shower and then I will re-bandage his cut from yesterday. Did I tell you all that we nearly had to go to the emergency room? He was opening his new knife and pulled it from the packaging and slid it across his first finger! Just as I was getting up to get the scissors! He said, "that's going to need stitches!" Got it all fixed up though and it was looking good when we redid it last night. I didnt want him to have stitches in his finger because of how mine feels from them when I dropped the wagon hitch on it! It is kinda hard inside and I cant feel much...but it is just my pinky not the index finger!
OK--time to say--have a Fantastic Day Everyone and GO Pack! Terri O
