TO-I do know that it seems fantastic to have weekends off and I will not deny that it is nice. However, I envy those of you with nuclear families. The ex's are a pill for sure, but the conflict that occurs in parenting is more of a problem in my opinion. All in all each side envies the other in some way I guess.

A couple years back, the humane society in Milw. had a flippin boatload of them. They lay eggs like crazy! I can see why there were so many unwanted ones available. Have you heard them laugh?

I love it when they laugh!!! I have them right outside my window and they go crazy at night!(probably all the quail running around on the ground) Some may say its annoying but I find it so relaxing.

Graduation over with.... now on to the party. Tomorrow my brother and fam are going to have breakfast over here; pancakes and bacon and coffee, and hopefully I can get some scrambled eggs done as well.....

I'll post pics when I get them off the camera. Probably not until after Sunday though.

Well, hate to say I was right about the peppermint oil. Glad I didn't put everything back into that drawer! I opened it this afternoon and 5 little turds were there!

Hey cuties...was it you who also got some BCM birds from the gal in mazo? How is your quality? I only got two so not the best sample. My roo looks grewt, but my pullet has white tips on a few wing feathers which I believe is a DQ for showing...

Will found out I might be loosing my job again here...they decided to spend my salary on a corporate lawyer ...how that compares to someone doing hr stuff...don't get it, but my boss and I were thoroughly upset when the news came down from the owner. Sigh... Just trying to catch a break too!

Off to Chicago for a nephews birthday party with the crazy family...should be interesting...

Chilly morning to all. Nice to catch a wee break today but the wind makes it just a tad chilly to be outside. At least the skeeters gotta fight hard to get to you!

Babies are all doing fine, most just complaining that they gotta stay in instead of running around on the outside. They will get over it. Just puts a damper on me cleaning out the condos and readying 2 more for I can separate the big crowd. Gets a big crowded in one condo. Will see if we get a break in weather to do it.

So wanting to get all my critters tested but don't know anyone close by or can afford the money right now. How long is the NPIP certification good for from someone that has the tested parents in terms of age, meaning how long after I got them is it still good?

FFF sounds good to me Bigz...but who's gonna catch them all ??  I can eat quit a few and OMET well he can out due me. Maybe we'll have to start fishing now and pack the freezer... oh wait it doesn't work !! Crap !

CS.... I never had kinds until I got married 10 yrs ago..... and he is now on retirement !!!  But I can definitely relate to having your own time.... Awe the good old days. I would stay out in the yard all day until I couldn't walk. Once I hit the chair or bed I could hardly get up. Didn't have the ANSWER to anyone and imagine... I did things RIGHT all of the time !!!
Not complaining.... well not to much anyhow !!!

BL4 YOU MAKE ME TIRED and FEEL LAZY.... well ok, I don't need anyone to make me feel lazy cause I can do that all by my self. Wow, I'd take1/10 of your energy. Give the other 9/10ths to OMET !!!

Good News is my TV converter box started working again. Real Bad News is OMET managed to back up the tractor with the post hole digger on it (AGAIN) and the digger manages to creep lower and lower and he bent the shaft real bad ! So we got a total of 3 posts in on our 20 acres.

I'm getting real tired of the dance we're doing here.... one step forward and three backwards !!!  

Have to go check the broody that I put three of the eggs under that we collected for selling. Hope the most developed one made it. The egg did get cold and washed. We shall see. It's an EE or Ameraucana and Daddy is a one night stand.

Yesterday I spent a good amount of time making different fly spray recipes. Tried the one off the bottle of Citronella oil. It was the only one with ACV. Vaccinated some horses and then sprayed them after their shot. Did Queen first.....the mosquitoes were still sitting on her !!! We used up the whole bottle so I won't be making that one anymore. OMET rated the sprays for scent. 1-5.... He gave the US Forestry blend a 7.... Of course it's the most expensive to make. Uses 1 cup of Avon Skin so Soft.

Sitting out here in the camper. Made the spray out here yesterday and we slept out here last night ! Frogs were real happy last night as well as the yotes.
