Stacy, I am glad she is getting a refresher and goingntona goodnnew home. Hopefully you won't have to worry. I was scared you meant to slaughter. And wss wondering how I was going to talk Scott into another horse and a whole new fence around the yard as ours listen to a 3 foot non electrified woven wire. Lol
I just had the best ride ever! Thunder is such a good boy. We did bareback. I feel like I am learning better that way. We are each learning what we need. I made him do obstacles. And go towards Brownie and turn to walk the other way. A few times he just stopped. And I had him do one circle to get going again. I am going to make him ride twice a week without Brownie. Because I could see him getting real attached to him. I think we will help eachother get into a little better shape. Now I will need to start to transition him to listen to Sydney. She is gung ho tonride on her own. B ut I am still making her stick to being lead around.
The chickens are good. But I did letnout the batch of Light Brahma chicks. And sadly I think the hawk has discovered them. Hubby says a couple are missing. And found some feathers back in the trees :,(. Might have to lock them back up until they get a little bigger.

Ok here is what I'm working with so if anyone knows how to wire this please help me. I have 3 wires coming from old turn dial thermostat on the sportsmans and I want the new digital wired.

first off hey everyone i live in wi and mi...so im in both threads...i raise chickens, turkeys and pheasants....ringnecks, and red goldens...and lastly if you want to go to you tube and download rushlanepoultry he shows you how to install the stc1000 i have two that i just got...so building the incubators with you....lol....i used a led computer fan so i can always see in the unit.....and just today i had a red golden about two months old fly up and say hello....so im saying hello to all you...if you breed the red goldens or any of there mutations please pm me and we can go from there...im always in the market of expanding....

good late afternoon, early evening,

I worked on Ollie a bit today.. got so far as to lift the front end with the hoist,, It came up real nice and easy,, but I let it back down,, have to do some revamping of the hoist frame,, have to shorten the spreader strap, so I can lift Ollie higher,, and then I want to work in some blocking so he can't fall on me if something lets go..

I found another source for an axle.. have to check it out.. might be less $$$$ ..

Stacy,, white always goes to white,, they call that neutral.. the black should go to black on one side of the heating element, and the blue should go to the other side of the heating element..
the inside of the thermostat is like an internal automatic light switch..
I always have to draw it out on paper before I do wiring..

Hello bird man from the NW corner of the state! We raise pheasants also (besides chickens, tons of ducks and recently geese too). We got Red Goldens (yours look more like yellow Goldens tho), Lady Amherst, Alaskan Snow and Ringnecks.

Other than that it was a nice sunny day outside once it started warming up this morning. Anyone say brrr?!

Had a somewhat lazy day, finishing and trying (emphasis on trying) to regime the chickens into their new tower home. So far we always have to catch them in the old place and put them into the new digs ourselves.

After the torrential rains we had this past week our lake came back again, and the ducks and geese have a blast swimming, bathing and digging for goodies in there. So funny to watch them compete and chase each other from the good spots!

Even the dogs got a few minutes of rough play in today and are snoring already on their blanket. Btw, Jim, anything new on Dora and her pups yet?

Gonna lock up the noisies, then time for some cheesecake brownies I made last night. Hmmm. Soo good! Night everyone!

For some reason my brain just won't get it, Jim could you draw it out on paper for me pretty please. I've wired houses before but I seriously don't understand. I know this stuff but it just won't sink in. I'm not sure if it's due to my head concussion a few weeks ago or what but I don't get it. I've already blew the trip 3 times and give up, put the old dial thermostat back in. I've watched videos but they are all to build a new bator and wire it using a wall plug in thingy, see here I go I can't remember the name of the **** thing. And I know what they are called. gah. I know black if power and white is neutral but their are suppose to be jumpers or something and one said I'm suppose to have a relay and others say no relay and for the relay they are using a plug in but seeing it's already wired in the sportsmans I don't see a need for a relay as their should already be one wired inside the case but I'm not tearing the whole bator apart to find out. If I can't easily wire this digital thermo in I give up and I will just not use it on there and put in one of my homemade bator I guess as I watched the videos to do that. I feel like a dumb@@@ for not getting this.

Thanks Melanie, but she would not of been a good horse for you or your family. She would of been good for a family that had alot of horse training and an older teen that wanted to do speed shows and such. She was a hot horse to ride but sure pretty to look at, that is why I had originally bought her as I used to do barrels and poles. But I got older and more fragile. I'm just hoping now that she's gone that we can actually use Buddy the way we use to and Tyler can ride him. How you are describing your horse is how Buddy was with Sadie, couldn't ride more than 100 feet without a fight and him trying to throw a fit to get back to her. The age never scared me but it does so many others. My sil and fil swear to never get a horse over 5 as that's too old. We had one live to 43 and one 38 so they can live a long life.
