not I, said Jiminwisc .......

I just rounded up most of my guineas.. I have 24 of the largest ones caught for an order for this afternoon,,

all I have left after that are the adolescents ,, I have about 50 of them in the lean to, and maybe a dozen or more in the guinea coop.. there are still about a dozen that refuse to go in anywhere..

we tossed out some treats and are letting them calm down..

I don't think I am going to turn them out free ranging anymore..

I sold all of my extra roosters last night.. the same people are coming today for the 30 guineas..
they d@mned well better show up..

so my crazy geese are venturing further and further onto the pond it seems! FINALLY! my mom has my kids today so took a few pics from her phone and sent them to me, not the best quality, but you get the idea, sooo exciting! We have the pomeranian, and two embden crosses, one is all white, and one is grey splotchy, thinking the grey might be the female, it's neck is scrawny than the other two and seems to lead everyone around, we named it "Little Vish" (short for little vicious as it was the meanest one) lol you can see the pomeranian (nibbles) bobbing and tipped almost completely over topsy turvy... and the white one is snowball...

Afternoon To Everyone....crazy busy here. The outside fryer was going for almost 5 hours yesterday....we turned a 5 gal pail of fresh cut fries into 4 one gallon bags of French fries...they are so superior to any commercial brand.

We still have to do carrots, kohlrabi, stuffed cabbage, beets and sauerkraut.

Sorry to hear you are quitting poultry for now Amy....I can understand why...for sure! Hope you still will be able to make our annual bash, and hang around talking with us.

Nice eight pointer on trail cam...hope he stops by when I'm hunting.

Fenchie....just put the mask under the vent and the elastic across the back of the neck and under each wing. One just has to make sure it isn't to tight.

My birds are molting like crazy....the brahmas are almost bald and over half the buckeyes are in molt too. Only about 4 eggs a day to collect at the present time.

Hi my fellow Wisconsin duck lovers. I'm new to owning ducks. I fell into it accidentally I have 2 14 week drake mallards and one 14 week old blue swede mutt duck. I believe that I need more ducks to keep my girl safe. Any ideas how to find ducks to add to my flock? The boys are such characters I don't want to part with them. Just this week they started knocking on the front door! They all hang out on my front deck most of the day. ..it's so cute!
