Afternoon To Everyone...here is a pic of a afghan that suzie made for our daughter jennie...it took 1 1/2 years to finish....

I took 2 years to make the only afghan I have ever made; then promptly gave it to my SIL. Tell Suzie she did an excellent job!

Everyone asks all the time why we do not all weigh 300 pounds each. Most of the time I give away what I make, so there is not much that is eaten here. The cake I baked today is for my cousin's bridal shower. Funfetti cake with fudge filling and buttercream frosting. Pictures of the finished product will of course be shared.....

That is it for now, time to play minecraft.

Fish Fry Friday to everyone.....I was gonna ask what kinda cake you were makin bl4....sounds delicious ....I'll have a piece for sure.

Bake fish with ho-made fries and coleslaw...I have enough fresh cabbage from what we grew for one more fish fry. Then I have to buy the store bought cabbage...

Getting close to the big game with the hawks. Sure would be nice to win this one, eh!

seems like afghans are one of those things that people don't make for themselves.. Annie made one for me,, It is always draped on the back of my puter chair,,

No fish tonight,, I was hungry for sloppy Joe's.. (we call it bbq).. is there a difference?
so I made a batch,,
It is simmering on the stove right now..
gotta let all the flavors combine .. It smells good already ..
I didn't get ambitious enough to make ho-made buns , though..

so I am going to have bbq's with a root beer ..

waiting for DH to get home with pizza tonight. DS(13) has 3 friends over for a sleepover and it is LOUD in the house!! and they are all sitting next to each other!

My hubs came home this evening after checking on the chickaroos just shaking his head.

"How many eggs did you get yesterday?", he asked.

"None", was my reply.

"How many the day before?"

"One."

"And the day before that?"

"Two. Why?"

"I just got 10 tonight! That's CRAZY!"

Yes, indeed. It's a crazy chicken world!
