They get around 100lbs. But he's very hard to rehome because of his size/long life. I'm being very careful about who takes him.

I'm in Chicago right now and we've got 16 inches on the ground here near Midway. Lots of wind blowing it into big drifts. Cate says she's leaving for work early in the am but the alley is so drifted in she may not be going in as planned.

Yesterday we spent the day in Champaign, IL distributing posters for a missing student (20 years old) who disappeared last Sunday. Last night we heard they found a body that is likely his. His family and friends are devastated. Please pray for the Mundo family as they grieve the loss of their sweet boy, Vicente. It is so incredibly sad.

Sleep well and hold your loved ones close tonight.

Nothing new except the snow. Not even the turkeys came out of the coop today! Shoveled to the coop twice, will have to do it again for morning.

So what does it say about your town when they lock the doors to the city offices and force everyone to conduct business through a security window? What are they afraid of? Have the elected officials ticked off the residents to the point that they fear the City Hall is going to be overrun with people going postal?

I cannot get out of here fast enough.
