For anyone here who's had a necropsy done at the state lab, how long does it take to get the full report back??

Good for you!
It takes a few days to start getting your preliminaries in. The whole process takes a solid two weeks.

Good morning all

we traveled south yesterday and got Syd some new silkies! We now have lots of color. Not just white.
She is in love with them.
And Blake wound up getting two Welsh Harlaquin ducks. He is very happy with them.
hope you are all having a good weekend!

Del, thinking of you and hoping all is we
Thank you, I have secondary surgery Wednesday. Just another biopsy, but I know what they are going to do and I am already a wreck. I am sure it will be the same as last biopsy.
Hi, do you guys know if mill's fleet farm carries live bird shipping box for poultry or where one can find some in Milwaukee area?

Thanks in advance for any help
They do not carry them. You can call your pet stores and use shipping boxes for cats and other animals. Many pet stores carry them and they are airline approved. Or you need to order them online.

We know it isn't del since she thinks we are crazy to let the chickens in the house

Terri,...... how is Tommy........ still inside?
lol...
I have chicks in the house. And yes, no dang adults. If they are that injured, they get the ax. I have brought George in the house to make him eat more by offering him meats. He spends all of his energy feeding hens and chicks and looses weight when his hormones are raging. I am fortunate he has a good appetite and gobbles food down quickly. he is easy to watch and I pick him up at least a few times a week so that helps me keep an eye on him. I don't mind chicks in the house because it gives me a leg up on show season. In another month I will be ready to kill myself from the noise though.

I checked HAWS website but no sign of any blood thirsty chickens yet. If she had a bunch of chickens inside her house, then she probably died of asphyxiation. How the heck did I spell that right on the first try?????

So glad to hear from you Del. Best wishes being sent to you for a speedy recovery.

HI All!

The Splitter is home and running! Adam and the grandsons stayed for a couple of hours and split up a pile of wood for us. It now has a nice strong motor and electric start!
