Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Ouch! What did he hit Staci? I hope he is ok. And as always, you just leave me in awe. Great job!

Cind & Vicki, I hope you are both feeling much better real soon. Glad you checked in Vicki and fingers crossed on the new house.

DH had the plow on the ATV a month ago and unfortunately he had to use it already. But thankfully that has long melted and the run is once again a muddy mess. I spent part of the day breaking apart some old straw bales & spreading them out in the run for a path. I'm sure the boys will have it everywhere but where I put it tomorrow.

Supposed to get some snow/slop overnight but should be melting. Sounds like the weekend will be nice. Hard to believe the sump pump is getting a workout in Dec. but I am not complaining.

Hi All!

Glad you checked in Vicky!

Yea, I feel a bit better.

Today when I went to get eggs there was blood smeared all over the inside walls of the nest box. Not real heavy but scary enough. No feather pile. No blood around the box. Checked butts of those I could find, nothing unusual.

Night All.

Nice December Day to everyone. Glad you checked in Vicky, and praying for a speedy recovery for you....I know you are anxious to get back to the things you love to do! I say it a lot...life is precious.

Been busy as heck here. Trying to get enough wood in the basement before the real winter arrives, as well as all the other chores that Camp provides....looking good with the balmy weather for another week...it is a good thing.

Stuffed cabbage with mashed potatoes and green beans....I just hafta have a lot of veggies.

Hi all, didn't get a lot accomplished today,, there's always tomorrow..

Had chili for supper..

wish I had a beer to chase after it,, I might have to break down and have an O'doules .. might as well drink water.. I will search, maybe there is a Corona in there yet.. Corona, the Mexican Layies' beer.. but I like it..

Well since everyone is looking for something to read....I got the inside of the coop coated with cardboard to stop the breezes for the winter, got the wire buried to the coop, made the kids get their flu shots then we went to pick out the tree. Got it up and decorated and for the first year they were actually good help. Still have a few mushrooms to harvest but I got the last of the goodies out of the garden and took the last of the plants to the coop for the girls to enjoy. Next week I will start canning the venison from hunting. Got my greenhouse winterized. Still have to hook up the freeze alarm in there though. I have 2 packages of orchids coming to fit in there yet. Have most of the Christmas shopping done. And that about sums up my week so far.
