Oh that sounds really pleasant! Maybe we all ought to meet at your place and bring our ice skates>maybe mops and buckets too! So what happens to all this "fertilizer" when it thaws? I imagine that it doesnt smell pleasant...maybe a lot like the inside of my barn right now...we have the opposite problem--all the dirt from the driveway flows down and into the barn! THere must be 4" of frozen dirt and sh1t on the floor right now. Cant get the loader in either to push it on thru! Ah the wonderful season of MUD!

The fam has gone to dinner and to the hockey game in Madison--ah quiet around here for the whole night...wonder what I should do??? Guess I better get the sheets off of the line before they are damp again...then to find something to eat! Dog park was excellent--dogs are now snoring all over the house. I love it--Terri O

we have always had water across the yard like this, but this is the first time in 40 years that they spread sh!t in the wintertime.

I am going to call them over here and show them what happened.. i am sure they won't do it again.. they are actually really good neighbors..

Yep it's that time of year for the messy conditions. I'm not sure if my knee boots are gonna make another spring season.

One of my 6 year old lt brahma hens layed a egg today.....the days are getting longer, and goth's gonna be collecting eggs soon!

I'm glad I'm off the road nowadays...yesterday a guy couldn't see, and today better hang on or go for a ride! I remember some close calls for sure.

Yep cind the bash should provide some good choices for folks looking for something. I think the plant swap will also provide some goodies to exchange or sell. Folks looking for something should mention their interests in the hopes someone can provide what you're looking for.

I know someone was gonna go to Duane Urch for Buckeyes....I have eggs, and one extra cockeral at the present time. Sure beats his prices, and the gene pool is kinda limited, for new blood.

The facilities are really gonna be nice with water, shade, and room to enjoy. The closer the bash gets the more I'm getting pumped up!

My friend called and has a load of shavings from his planer that I need to pick up. I love the barter system...eggs for shavings works for me!

Talk about your wind! Holy moley!!!! It always amazes me that people think it is smart to go 70+ on the roads in weather like this!

Tomorrow the oldest DS turns 14...... ack!


Off to bake a cake for the boy out of my 'new' book! I can't wait to taste it!

Also please post a pic of the cake! I just made a chocolate gluten free cake for my desert. THe kind you can cook in the micro for 3 minutes! I layered two wedges and poured some dark hershey's syrup over it....yup--it was GOOD! (I have hope I can do this...) Sweet dreams all! Terri O​

I'll try to get pics, it just came out of the oven and smells wonderful! I made the basic yellow cake recipe..... thought I would bring the boys a coffee cake tomorrow morning so that is sitting in the oven right now.

Ugh, I need to decompress; too much stressing about things I have no control over!

Gosh you guys talk alot! Page 600! Wow! Just dropped in to say hi. Loving this weather, finally was able to get the horses out and play a couple days this week. TO we need to go soon. maybe march? Sounds like everyone is enjoying themselves. DrHa- He looks just like his dad. Jim- Your a good man for taking care of your mom. You do my job every day, only thing is I get time off you dont. Glad everyone is enjoying this wonderful weather. Kinda jealous of all you who are getting eggs. When we had that blizzard and then that really cold spell, they all stopped laying. Finally got my first egg today again. My quail never stopped though. Also lost Naked Ned to that cold weather too. He was my frizzled blue cochin that I got last summer. He was kinda over frizzled and couldn't fly or get on the roost. Poor guy, don't know if it was the cold or the he picked a fight with the bigger boys and lost. Either way I feel bad.
Got a question for BCC- when is the swap in Fondy? You usually know so I thought I would ask you. Well everyone have a great night and weekend.

I just had to say hi this late...cause I never do! Seems Cinlady in the one to post in the middle of the night

But I wanted the first post for Saturday! So now I did it and I can go to bed and read my book...let me tell you guys; this gluten free thing is amazing!!! I actually feel alive like I used to when I was 20 something! Whoo-Hooo...I still miss my beer though! Gave one to my son (home from college for his b-day this weekend) and said he had to drink it in my honor...Yeah, right! Good night! Terri O
