good evening,

Thurs night football tonight. no packer game, though.

I got all of the ladder work done. just 2 more pieces of siding to go on. they are already cut, tomorrow I'll be on the roof to finish, (I hope). it seems that something always comes up to block me..

I have a few grape shoots picked out for scions.
Annie said she has some gloves for me.
there are more berry bushes in the grapes, than grapes.
I am thinking of moving the grapes..

I got a message from BYC today. giving me a congrats on 8 years of membership. the time sure flies by, eh?
actually it is more like 10 years, but I was banned from here way back when, remember ?

Thinking it's a good day to make sure the .223ss is dead nuts. Been having the coyotes in the yard the past few nights. I'm going out blazin this time. Hoping it dries out a little so I can mow one last time. Then a oil change for the toro and put it away for the year.

Where we hunt, we were having a lot of coyotes. Got a couple of pictures of a lynx and one of a badger on the trail cams and suddenly the coyotes are all at least a set of hills away!

I guess I just gave that coon a good headache. I did not see a dead one on the road this morning..... yes a skunk would have been awful!

Poor Cubs! There is always tomorrow! I am so thankful we have the World Series to break up the rest of the news!

I remember Jim; those silly mods....... they should know better.

Not that the Cubs played badly last night. but there was one flaw that I saw. I don't remember his name, but he hit that looong ball to the right field corner. I think he thought it was going foul, so he just slowly trotted toward first base. then he woke up and poured on the coals. made it to second. when it could easily have been a triple, and maybe even an infield home run with some lucky error throw or something.

From yesterday ; I was not able to get online until just now. GS Kalib had to straighten out this computer for me.

still getting 10/16 on the eggs. one chicken is laying a soft shelled egg every day. usually it is broken in the nest.

I didn't get to work on my project today. Sister called me to come and supervise her boys in building a fence across her back yard. I planned on getting them started and being home by noon. no such luck. her son showed up with an attitude. I took it for about 15 minutes and finally sent him away. the foster boy and I put up the 8 posts and 7 sections without her son's help. got all done by 3 PM.

I should learn how to do the split screen on my TV.
Badgers and World Series tonight at the same time.
who in their right mind would schedule such a thing ?

Ended up running my dog to the vet yesterday because she had been so lethargic. She must went into heat Monday so I kinda just thought it was a girl situation goin on but she was burning up. The vet thinks she might have blasto. I had to run a urine sample back today so I should know by Wednesday. Hopefully that's not it. If so that means 4 months of treatment. Atleast it's winter or close to it and we don't do much outside.
