Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Nice lookin coop cher....I think you will be happy with your roof for sure. Day off from working around here today. Hope to get a big ash cut that fell across the logging road we need to keep open...it's a big one for sure....one of those that's a load or more with one tree.
Nothing but the best wishes for the Pack tomorrow....it don't look good though.

good morning,
rain here.
I didn't get much accomplished yesterday.
had company for the prime time of the day.
guess company is important, too.
Jim P's DD came and picked up my whiz bang plucker.. they had 40 X's to butcher.
I hope it went well for them.

I told her little girl , about 11 years old , that if she could catch the lone hen, she could have her. well she did, and now I am finally chickenless.

Brent, we get the point. 7 times ?? :lau

yesterday I scraped the weeds off of the remaining potato row. I will dig them for anybody who wants to pick them up.
Annie has enough.

Don't know what I did to have that happen. I couldn't do it again if I tried! Rained out for cutting the big ash tree...another day, I guess.
GO PACK!

Hi everyone!
Just getting caught up. Like all of you I've been working hard to get the winter prep done and I think we just made it. Good chance we will see our first snowflakes in the morning. The weather/temperature swing from Saturday to tonight has just been bazaar. Just glad we're not any further north. They could get winds up to 70 mph tomorrow! It's going to be blowing down out of the North so I'm glad we didn't log out our woods after all. Between the wind snow rain and falling temps i think tomorrow is a good shopping day.

good blustery morning here in wisconsin.

we got the puppy delivered to the Amish
in Pittsville. 2 hour ride. the puppy slept most of the way.

he was very calm and friendly to the new folks.
he will be taking a ride to southern Iowa today in a horse trailer.
going to a small sheep farm..

I have a new/old project for this fall/winter. our new bedroom windows have to get jamb extenders made for them.
I get to use my power tools again.
table saw, planer, finish nailer. yahoo !

I checked with Sunnyside hatchery,
Sagitta will be available in March.
I think I will give them a try.
