Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

after plowing 4+ inches of snow and pulling Kalib up the driveway, I decided I needed a nap.
so I came in and turned on PGA golf. I slept like a baby..

today is Annie's birthday. she said that the night before she was born, they had a snow storm. just like we had last night..

the puppy is scheduled to fly to Loxahatchee Florida on March 5..

Well, we started with our first chicks last March. We began with 4 that were under a week old. Like all of you, we fell in love right away. One turned out to be a rooster so we were down to 3 hens. They all grew and layed nicely but ended up with Mareks. Definitely not what I expected!
I started incubating 14 eggs that we got from a friend’s flock on Wednesday. I feel like we need to vaccinate any chicks we get against Mareks. Does anyone in the Plymouth/Sheboygan area have advice on where to purchase the vaccination and supplies I need? Any other advice on what we need to do to best clean our coop to minimize the risk for our new flock?

my pair of geese disappeared today, but only for a short time, i guess it is time to go looking for a nest..

it is usually under the lean to on the rear of the garage..

when I find it, I will supply her with a nice pile of fresh straw..

nothing else new here. just enjoying the spring like weather ..
