Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

We got blizzard conditions here today. More snow, and the wind was awful. Will this ever end? We ordered our chicks and goslings yesterday, they arrive at the end of the month. I’m worried we’ll still be living in Arctic conditions when they arrive. 🥶

Hi Badger farm! Central WI here. Welcome to the thread! Bear coyotes, etc. you name it is here too.

I have a prefab shed built on an old hay wagon running gear, surrounded by an electric net fence. Works perfectly against the preds. No snakes, coons, hawks….. ladies have an awesome roo to protect them too.
Ooo! Love it!

What really sucks is when get a foot of snow in April. At least we into March. Looking up.
Suppose syrup makers are BZ. Warm day and freezing night.

Nice to see you stop by chickenscratch. Good to hear all is well with you!
Welcome to the cheeseheads badger farms Big coop with nice access doors are pleasant to do chores in.
Haven't decided if I'm ordering chicks or hatching chicks yet. Plenty of time yet to decide.

Happy FFF to everyone on here. Can't wait for winter to run and hide. I have enough projects for a few months of busy time in the woods when the snow goes away.
Went to the feed mill yesterday. Corn is up to $16 per 100lbs now. I think that is the most I've ever paid.

Stay Safe ... bigz
