Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I just finished the perches and the nest box, I have some concerns because the nestbox is right over the chicken door due to where the entrance door is.
here are some pics

otonoh wish you hadn't taken the day off and wasted it! Thanks for all the support and advise everyone! Sorry for plugging things up. No further progress on the ones that were moving but there's one that is zipping right now!

Well guys, I just candled--I'm at the end of week one. I've got six left that are alive and five that I can't tell because the shells are two dark. I started out with 36. I'm still working up the guts to open the eggs, because I think it will be a learning experience, but I'll have to wait a bit. I don't mind touching them or whatever, but I can't get past the feeling that I'm killing them when I break the shells open, even though I know intellectually that I'm not. We'll see if I can get the guts by tonight, otherwise I'll just toss the whole thing.

I'm sad, but I am happy that a few seem to have made it. We'll see if we can make it all the way, now. I'm hoping I can at least hatch three or four.

I've decided that I'm not cut out to hatch, it's just too nerve racking! Including the one that was moving yesterday there's 5 rockers plus the one that now has it's beak poking out. Congrats to all that have birds hatched out! I'm wore right out and I didn't do a dang thing today except worry and watch.

don't worry to much about detatched air cells, all you need to do is watch them when they hatch, not having detatched air cell in shipped eggs is rare. its more on how they are packed than the shipping (and how rough the PO is)

I have some in the Brinsea octagon so they were already upright but the ones in the LG had to be put in egg cartons. I hope I get at least a few to hatch. I spent over $100 on these eggs.
