Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

fordmommy how did you get it changed? Who do you talk too?
You guys have been busy off a couple days and I had 6 pages to read to catch up. We will be coming on the 12th. Don't know the number yet, I'll iron that out and get back to you Terri O. Either 3 or 6 big difference.
Hello all that are new! Take care everyone!

Hi All! Figured out the avatar as you can see. It's Brownie! My fav! L had to help. She says all you do is click on the file you don't have to type it. Geezzus! Gone are the days of slide rules and 48 starred flags. That's right I remember when they changed them in my grade school. In my deffense they were a few years late. I have a problem or problems. The Mamma may be broodie but it may be a case of hiding. A couple of times now I've gone out there and another hen or two would attack her. Didn't think too much of it but I didn't get out there till after dark tonight and she was in a nest box instead of up with the rest. Think she's sleeping in there. I checked her for wounds or injury and found none. The neat part is that when the others attack Peaches goes in and breaks it up and they leave her alone. What do ya think cabin fever? Also I've been getting 8-9 eggs, today only 3. Now I'm worried their eating them. They always have fresh food, water, treats, and dried egg shells.

No it wasn't a dream I think I said 6. And I still think 6. "Teenagers, I don't know if I want to go, It doesn't sound fun," I think I'm just going to make them and then if they are pains in my ____ I'll make them sit in the car and pout.

I'll let you know for sure soon. I don't know if it's a battle worth having.

Has anyone ever given their chickens soybeans? Are soybeans ok to give to chickens? There is a guy selling 50# bags on CL for 5 bucks. I was thinking of getting a bag or 2 if I can. Thats cheaper than BOSS and has the protein. Thanks everyone!

check if the beans are roasted, if they are not, do not do it, they can carry a organism that will kill your birds fast, and they are harder to digest, it the same mold? that some of the farmers are having problems with in the corn this year because it was so wet at harvest

becky, they have a nice lake there that's closed off with bouyes. At the deepest in there is about 6 feet deep. No lifeguard, but you could make them go in a group and watch out for eachother. I'm sure other teens will want to go. Also-they have a new store like thing where you can rent canoes, and I think bikes, by the hour or day. Also hiking trails around the lakes that are about a mile long around each lake. So there's plenty to do. Have them bring fishing poles too.

And as for changing my title...I had to go into the "GFM anoucement forum" and there's a sticky post where you are to ask. And terrilacy PMed me that my first choice was taken and then I asked for the other one, and she changed it.

Still don't know who to thank.....

Ok after reading the artical from Bigzio and advice for BCC, I don't think I'm going to. I don't know if they are roasted but my guess is that they aren't. It's a nice price, but not worth it. I'll stick with BOSS. Thanks Bigzio and BCC.
Fordmommy-I have decided that they are coming. I do all kinds of things for them that I don't want to do, so they are coming. Hopefully without tears!
