Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I just got finished plowing,, had a couple of interruptions.. the last thing I did was to plow a path across the lawn to get to the peacock pen.. on the second pass I got stuck.. narurally Annie just left for town, so nobody to drive the Blazer to pull me loose.. leave it for tomorrow, I guess..

I went to town with DD#1 last night,, the roads were so bad I decided to stay at DD#2's house..
her couch was not too uncomfortable..

Well, I moved Danny Boy into the coop in his crate today and the girls crowded in to look him over. They seemed to have a lot to say about him and there was a little pushing for awhile. He, of course, is dying to get out of the crate. After the girls are roosting I'll get him out and see how it goes. Right now the ladies are still chatty but they're pretty much ignoring him.

Someone turn the heat up!!!!

So has anyone used the brinsea Octagon 20, I'm thinking it will be very similar to the little mini I had but wondering if anyone had any trouble with theirs ,so I know what to watch out for......the little one had ya add water right away, and some people say not too until day 15? but mine most hatched last year with little trouble, but what a stinky wet mess to clean up after, and the humidity was so dewy they took forever to dry off.......so will see I guess, Wish it would get here so I can start collecting eggs, and wish mother nature would having these little fits.........and warm up, so I can seperate my roos to the outside pens.
So anyway I better get to making stuff to do for today.........later all.....Kim
I have an octagon 20 Eco and an Octagon 20 Advance. I have never had any trouble with mine. It's holds it's temperature well and it's pretty easy to keep the humidity up once you add water..
