I was just adding water to bator #1 where the duck and goose eggs are.. I was priming the water pan when I heard a loud chirping.. Goose ? 5 days early ? the eggs are marked May 17 for lockdown.. I must have figured 35 days for them.. I can never get goose to hatch when they are supposed to.. well, let's hope they or it hatches,, early or late,, whatever..

I was notified by DW Annie that there is a pin hole in one of the copper water pipes.. I have the water shut off and applied a layer of JB Weld to the spot.. hope it works.. I will keep the pressure off overnight and see what happens in the morning when I turn the pump back on.. I am sooo tempted to redo all the pipes with Tec .. what would I do if one of these pin holes happened inside a wall, or in my case, in the finished basement ceiling.. ?? this is the second time this has happened.. both times we were lucky and the holes were close to the pressure tank and in the only unfinished room in the basement.. Time to go shopping to see what it would cost .... HeII, I could sell the copper pipes for scrap to help pay for the new material, ...

humidity is up to 74% already.. that goose should be able to just about swim out of the shell..

Jim... could the goose have been setting on the egg for a few days before you found it? Hope your plumbing gets fixed.

Kildare...I feel for you with that wind on the bridge. I drove a van over it one year when it was real windy.... think it took a couple days to open my hands and my shoulders were in a knot too! Pulling a camper must have been even worse!

Delish.... did you get those bricks off CL? I saw someone was trying to get rid of paving bricks.

JJ... So sorry about your Aunt. Too bad you can't make the bash.

Youngest son made a baked cheesecake for me.... I got a slice! LOL

Great. Now I've got Pink Floyd running thru MY head, too! LOL!

Welp - no time for chatter. Today is my 1st day on 1st shift, they're switching me around for training. I'm used to working 2nd so we'll see how THIS goes. UGH!

Good morning everybody! The kiddos had tons of fun at their first show!!! Syd got 2 blues and a red! Blake got a blue AND a trophy!
They were so prroud :) although syd was pretty jealous of that trophy. She decided that she needs to practice and learn so she can win one :)
