Judge, this was our first breakfast on the farm. We'd meant to go to one for the last few years but didn't, surely had no excuse to not go to Natzke's farm. Great family, great neighbors to have. I think the last one they hosted was in the early 2000's. There was a board with a bunch of photos and history of their farm (5 generations now); in one of the aerial shots we could see how our property looked in the early 80's - nothing but cropland. Incredible how much the trees grew in less than 30 years! Some of them are 40' tall now. And it looks like the creek was not here back then either?
No clues on this turkey? The yellow is a Royal Palm, the other is obviously not but came from an egg marked as such. Could it be a Bourbon Red? I had those eggs too but thought that none developed.
