Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

D'uccles I believe Deli

I took the dog on the leash out among the birds this morning. He didn't act like a rabid dog. Every time he even crouched, he got a tug and "leave it." I also stopped in front of him, held muzzle, looked him in the eyes and said leave it. He barked, I said leave it. But honestly, he didn't act like an out of control freak. Curious how a dog will act when on a leash at your side versus free.

good job,,,now repetition is the key,,,,,getting him used to the birds and finding they are not his "toys" is the way to go,,,,,,,,eventually you will have to test him,,,,,hopefully that killer instinct was not instilled

if you have a longer lead use that after a couple days,,,give him some headspace and see what the reaction is

went and picked 3 flats of strawberries,,,,ate maybe half a quart in the row for breakfast,,,,nice berries and large,,,,DD is cooling and hulling,,,maybe a nap is in order
