I can't help with hay. I am too old and too fat to work in this heat. I have a hard time going outside at all. I normally live outside.

It is the 4-h dog project kids. We decided not to let the kids do the chickens untill next spring again. With scotts roo feeling ucky (he is normal again but still quarantine) I did not want to chance bringing a sick bird. Everyone else in the flock is very healthy. But not worth the risk
Syd n blake are disappointed, but understand.

I am sitting on my bench (finally) enjoying the soumd of the chickies going to bed. I miss my kids. I hardly see them when I get done at 7. I am already dreading teen years when they are home less. And college. .. :'(

Cuties by the time they are teenagers you will be happy they are not home as much, except to work around the homestead of course.

DH took Taffy back home today. She was quite happy to be back with her companions, and they were happy to see her too! Apparently there was a LOT of chatter between the three of them, catching up on the latest news I suppose.....

Today was crappy. Tomorrow promises to be crappy. Friday will be crappy. Put my updated resume up on careerbuilder. I am not quite sure I want to see how all this shakes out. Dirty politics at work...... and HR are among the crooks.

Back to my chocolate and wine.....
