Colton- that's great! I am very excited and my hen will be too. I stopped collecting eggs today so that she can accumulate a clutch equal to the size that I'm getting from you and Delisha. Just collect through Wednesday, ship Thursday morning, and let me know asap the shipping expense. If you think about it, you might want to ask the UPS people the ship rate for one egg so in the future you can request payment prior to ship. There are many people here that will testify that you should not ship out goods before receipt of and cashing the funds.

Delisha-the earliest I can get there is Friday. This week is a really busy week at work and at home.

JJ how do you get the Fels Naptha to dissolve?

The instructions say to grate it, but I am too lazy. I usually cut it up with a knife like whittling and boil those shards in the boiling water. Then, I whip out my imursion blender and blend it until they melt in.

I spent like 11.00 so far and have made 10 gallons of soap and have half of the borax and washing powder still for future batches. about 5 dollars for 5 gallons of soap I figure. we use 1 cup per load because we make our kids play in the dirt.

good eve, Yup, that is how to treat a twisted leg.. My kids never complained about minor aches and pains.. I wonder why ?

bro Dave came out today.. the rain held off and we got his 3 tier kayak stand built.. we even had plenty of time for breaks to eat fresh butterscotch cookies , raspberry pie and a celebration spotted cow at the end..

No rain to speak of, so I watered the garden.. despite the skeeters..

the guinea is tight on her nest yet..

a half grown guinea was "lost" up in the apple tree.. she cried for about 2 hours.. I finally chased her back to the guinea coop..

the beans are about ready for picking.. the carrots finally came up..they are looking like a row of carrots, now.. about 3 inches tall.. the tomatoes are growing tall, but there are not as many blossoms as I think there should be.. there is still plenty of time, though..

a guy inquired about the incubators I put on craig's list.. I recognized the name from a couple of years ago when I was selling a feather plucker.. this guy questions and dickers price, but never buys anything.. he just likes to play games.. I did not respond to his email.. If I get bored tomorrow, I just might string him along..

Hi All!

Yep FT.... that's what I use for my laundry soap. Most washes it's about a tbsp. or a little more in my top loader. If you use warm or hot water it works just fine. If I use it for a cold wash I dissolve it in a cup of hot water first. I've been using it for about 8 years, even when we had to go to the laundry mat. I like the smell of the Fels, guess 'cause I grew up with it as a pre-treater.

The "boss man" didn't show up today

and he flies out Tue. That doesn't mean the whole deal is down the tubes, just means I steam for a while and wait. I know for sure he NEEDS quill pens. It's the other stuff I need to know about.

Well, Heath (#2 guy) is good at getting him to move on things, well see.

Still no sign of the turkey hen, not much time to look tough.

good morning,, been on here since about 7.. nobody awake ?

I did a stupid thing, I think.. In my car yesterday, I found a plastic bag with 3 doz eggs in it.. IDK how long they were in there.. I know by the way they were packaged that they came from Marlene. I put them into the bator this morning.. due on Sept 3 .. as hot as it's been, they might be half way to hatch by now.. we will see..

Kind of raining here.. I wasn't planning on much outside today anyhow..

I love my days off....... it is so relaxing. Decompression before going back to the grind.

One of my friends is having baby #5 today!

Poor girl has had major BH contractions for weeks, strong enough to keep her up at night. She is desperate to have this baby so she can sleep! At her appointment yesterday she convinced the doc to induce her so she can end this rollercoaster ride. So I hope I get to go see a wee little one this evening!

I love how I have my garden planted in the back yard. I have one of those whirly sprinklers that you can extend above the ground about 3 feet and if I position is just right in the middle of the yard, I can water everything at once. Give you an idea of how small the postage stamp is!

Time for more coffee! I need to figure out what I am making for my Boss' party on Saturday too!
