Spent tonight with my cousin and his wife, and my aunt and uncle and my cousin and her family. Pizza, wine and s'mores! Tomorrow: Great America!!!!!!

Kids are excited, mom and dad are pooped!

Looking forward to going back home tomorrow........

Got my form filled out for Wisconsin International Poultry Show. Guess I'm going.
Will show up with a handful of Iowa Blues for the halibut. Can't wait to check out everything there.

I filled mine out today too. I will also have to change it. I checked all the birds and the poor Silkie is missing a toe nail.

Well it was hanging by a tiny piece of skin before I checked him.

Okay, wow it's been busy here and I had a lot of less than peaceful posts to read.

Ok..we ARE putting poison out for skunks tomorrow night. We are getting nightly visits from a skunk and I'm tired of it. It hasn't bothered the chickens, yet, but I'm not one for waiting around either.

So DH & I went for a bike ride and came across a rooster out in the woods! Couldn't believe it.

DD12 is home from Maryland

and we went shopping for school supplies today.

Got two Mottled Javas from him that were not show quality but I liked having a heritage breed...
