Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good morning! Had a young Mom and her 2yo son here picking mulberries again this morning. He LOVES them. He also had a ball eating pears off the tree and picking peapods too. I sent a huge bag of veggies home with them and she bought 2 doz eggs. Guess they dont have to grocery shop for much this week! I love garden time!
The Zucchini that I left on the vine to get a "little Bigger" sure did! They have got to be 8 pounds or so.

I guess I am making a stuffed one for dinner...then tomorrow it will be that zucchini lasagna I was telling you guys about where you use the planks of Zucchini instead of noodles. DD21 also picked a bunch of produce from her friends' place. She brought home a HUGE bunch of celery! There must be 5 plants all stuck together in this bunch! What am I going to do with all that celery? I guess I better head to Google....

I am hoping you are already done at the doc Frenchie! Prayers and hugs to you and the docs that they FINALLY find out what is wrong so you can get back to pseudo-normal!
Prayers to you too Clark...that swelling doesnt sound good at all...blood clots come to mind especially after surgery. I am glad you are heading in to get it looked at! It is true that sitting around with your feet down can swell them...but so can being up on them for hours at a time! Like someone else pointed out, I think you are guilty of the latter! Rest woman, rest!
Nice pics BTW!

Geez BigFam...you get all sentimental at work dontcha? YOu need to bring something along to do...take up needlework! Then you accomplish something too. I loved how you called Clark "all builder-y" totally cracked me up!
Cind--you are on a tough road lately! Didnt that sink plug up last year too? (or was that the toilet?) If the snake isnt long enough from the drain you could always go from underneath...if nothing else is plugged it might just get you the extra distance needed? Good luck!

I think this was part of the post I tried last night that self destructed. Sure wish I could remember what else I said!
So can anyone ID this plant? It blooms pink or white and has very shallow roots. It is perenial and also self seeds.

This one got out of order...the bouquet I picked last night that the cats spilled all over the floor this morning! I forgot to set it in the sink last night.

Here are the pod things that the seeds are in for the mystery plant. The lady I got it from didnt remember the name.

Guess I better water the critters. Then it's off to Menards for me...dog food time! Then to the mill for my weekly load of feed...I might have to stop at the grocery store too cause I am out of cheese and you cant have stuffed zucchini without that!

Have a good one! TerriO
Looks like Oleander,,, don't let anyone eat it, but I bet it smells good.

Hi all--bunch of pics for you tonight but am cooking beets right now so about this:
They never even did any blood work and they said the defeincy has just been since last wednesday. That's why I felt it far fetched, they never even did blood work today. I think their all talking out their asses. I think its either a reaction from the morphine or from them stopping my aspirin, which I was taking 2 a day for my lupus causing the sticky blood.(hypercuagulating)(sp)
So if they didnt DO ANY BLOOD WORK...how in the world do they know it is a protein deficiency???
I think you are right...they are talking out of their asses!

Nice Afternoon To All...Nice to hear that everyone is fine.

I'm kinda on edge with my daughter being called to fight the newest wildfire in Northern California. She Is a GIS Specialist....an elite close knit team of folks that plot the fire and create the maps for the hot shots on the fire line. She has been a National Wildfire Fighter for years....I just don't like her in the danger of the fire, and having to travel by herself. My prayers are with her...she is so strong! The pay is great...prolly $70/hr plus all expenses paid.

For anyone that is young and strong, it's a great opportunity for real work and a future job. It takes a lot of training...but the adventure is almost unreal.

Peace....bigz

On our way to River Valley Ranch! Great America was a zoo! It was bring a friend for free for the season pass holders..... WAY too many people and the waterpark was closed so a lot of hot STINKY people!

Gotta run, stopping to get water!

Hi all-
so sorry to hear of all the health troubles. I myself am lying here with ice on my neck. Friday was trigger point injections in my head and neck, and today was epidural steroid injection in my spine in my neck. Ouch.... I had the boys do the chores this morning. I haven't gotten out there to check, so hopefully they did a good job!

Quote: Evening!
thank you for the kind words about momma and not thinking me silly for tearing up. My avatars is a pic of Noodle as a chickie. I have my big girl panties back on now:D about the oil of oregano. I ordered the very purified form (much more potent than what you get at the health food stores) that also has piperine added. that's the stuff that makes black pepper bite. it enhances the action of the oil.. Oil of oregano was always known to act as a natural antibiotic but it was found in an extensive study done by, the university of Tennessee??? to be a more effective antibiotic in poultry than anything else available. only place you can get the best oil in this country is from First State Vet Supply. it is run by avian vet dr. peter brown. he looked for ages and finally found a supplier in Canada. Not the cheapest stuff, but really in line with what you'd pay for traditional antibiotic drugs. In the meantime I am using VetRx which can be found just about anyplace animal stuff is sold, very inexpensive, totally natural and actually contains oil of oregano.
BTW - I prefer to go "natural" whenever possible too.
About the DE. You really want to be sure you are using food grade around the girls because they will pick at it. Food grade DE is super cheap at FF, tractor supply, etc.
