Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

CS: Poor Cody! I have to say, the only thing he broke for us was one pH probe, and it was just a fluke. I am the one who breaks everything....

Grrrr....... I really cannot wait until I no longer get up at 4:30 on Saturdays.......

Gotta fly..... enjoy the day everyone! French, jump in your pool!

Yea he hasn't broken anythingvhere either, but the other day he was using a glass stir rod to assist filling a chemical thru a funnel and it broke in his hand.

So who picked Saturday? Baby says that today is the day! Everything is going slowly right now, I probably won't be updating until little one has arrived. Wish us luck! :jumpy

yeah....I think boy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hey cheeseheads anyone in the wisconsin area have a very docile pullet hen...looking for a polish but open to small breeds or friendly docile breeds im really desperate so any help aprecaited I am avidly scaning creigs list and other clasifieds

Hi and welcome!!
Just curious. Why just one small, docile pullet???

I currently have a small pullet who got picked on alot by larger more agressive birds and when my so called "friend" sold my 3 other chickens and because I have to keep them by me Im getting the pair certified as emotinal suport animals to get around the laws because I do use them as a coping thing but I cant have like 10 chickens and get away with that it wont be forever as eventually we will move somwhere else and then we will be able to get more but for now she needs a friend.

Here are some pics I took today. The mommas have the babies out of the coop but they aren't taking them out of the run into the yard yet.

Delisha-the Cuckoo maran is the only one that would have fuzzy legs right? If so, the black one is definitely a cuckoo maran because...guess what...it has fuzzy legs

The pictures suck. I didn't want to get to close yet and I only had my phone. The maran has the whitish belly and butt, no white on the head (the second picture shows the maran the best). The yellow one, is getting whitish wing feathers in already! You can see them in this bottom picture.

So here are my babies...have we heard from Amyable?

Got a quick q. For the chicken geniuses on here. My polish and some other puffy head chicks puffy heads don't look so fluffy. Here's a pic

Not sure what to or is it ok???

Maybe your birds are getting their heads inside of somewhere and eating? I have some interesting hairdos on some of mine when they reach into the chicken bucket to get the stuff stuck in there! If they are acting OK and eating and running around I wouldnt worry too much!
Did I ever post a picture of any of our crested geckos? If anyone has a child that wants a reptile these are great!
My daughter has one of those. Me and Carol bought him at a reptile show. (that was an experience for sure!) It looks like yours has lost it's tail! Eryn's just lost his after 3 years when she moved out...I think she didnt believe me that her cat was a monster! She moved out and he got into the gecko's cage. Thanks got he only got his tail off and didnt eat/kill him! My daughter has such a soft heart! Neat that you can hold yours like that...hers is such a spaz still!

BBP got a new neighbor who has a bird dog. Dog came over and killed a chicken. BBP beat dog in front of neighbor and said next time she would a) shoot dog or b) call police then shoot dog.

Neighbor was wrong. Dog did not know boundries and did what dogs do instinctually.

My question. What do you think the neighbor will do when the horses get out again?

My Mom was talking about a neighbor that was planning on getting rid of their hens. They are pets for sure! If she gets back to me on it I will post here first.

Someone is on her FB page saying she had a boy!
Well gee...that makes THREE! I guess I will head over to FB and see what I can learn!

Have a great night! TerriO

Yep, another BOY! 7lbs 9oz, 20in long. Born at 3:07 at home in the water. We are both doing great. Not fully certain on the name yet. He does have a lot of dark hair though and a good set of lungs. Thanks for all the well wishes!!

Who gets the guessing prize?
