I do like the name Drake though Dan! Maybe he could be Drake Harley?" THat was a good suggestion...too bad I am too old to have any more kids!

I am headed to Madison today for an interview...not nervous. I dont know if that is good or bad? Wasted my afternoon yesterday at friends' "watching" the game. How come I am the only one in the family that thinks sitting around for 3 ours on a Sunday is a waste of time? Especially when you do it EVERY Sunday for nearly the whole year? Sounds like a waste to me....

I better get outside and get the chores done, I have an 11:00 before I head to madison!

Well we have 20 jars of pears canned and that took care of most of my nice Bartlett pears...except what I keep for fresh eating. I have 4 giant boxes filled with the little ones. Going to take Vicki's advice and work on leather when they get a little more ripe in a few days, oth wise need to harvest our grapes and make some freezer jam.
Oh and we had our birds out most of yesterday when it was so nice and it looks like one of my ee didn't get in last night...she was sitting by our patio door this morning cooing for me. Guess my thoughts on predators was right...no evidence at all this year that I have seen...not sure if it is a dog or the year, but I will take it!
Ok...first early release for school so better get one mommy reading time between laundry and all this food prep!

Jim had to learn to read since his mommy passed and can no longer read his comics to him, Annie refuses as long as he keeps her working 3 jobs

gotta give him credit though, always proving you can teach and old dog new tricks

Nice Afternoon To All.... Busy with the gardens. I haven't even put the tree stands out yet, or taken a shot with the bow...prolly time to get er done, I suppose.

Congrats on the new addition Amy....Brent is A GREAT name in my opinion. Hope everything goes well and that the healthy one grows fast and strong.

The show in portage is closing in fast...I haven't forgot cuties...just sayin.

The addition to the garage at Camp is going good. I've spent more hours there than I planned. Where does all the help go when you need it? Bunch of old guys takes longer for sure.

My daughter Angie made it home safely from fighting the fire in Cali... 14 hour days took their toll, but the paycheck and feelings of helping were worth it for her.

Tough loss for the Pack....if your going to return a kickoff...then don't wait to decide...in my opinion.

Love it !!!!! Wouldn't you sh!t if she names him that !!!!! I like it !! Yeah where is that sun. I want to go in the pool but man is it cold.... I almost pass out when I hop in !!! No slow entry for me. Can't climb down the later like chicken sh!t ET.

Speaking of the little devil Guineas, I went outside today to find a mama with 6 keets !!! NOW they hatch !!!!! I have six going outside and I guess six coming in... if I can catch them.

ET didn't put the tires in the truck and I can't lift them with rims AND the tire is flat on the truck....so no getting the tires put on today.

Lazy day anyway....

Got home from work a little bit ago. Two of bells( astraulorp previously pictured) babies came running to me. We knew something was wrong. A hawk got belle. She got her babies into the long grass. They are all ok. It is fenced there. She couldnt get in. I am heart broke. Just got done telling sydney. Belle was her baby. Im just sad.

Nice name suggestion... but we went with Mason Richard (great grandpa on daddy's side for middle name.) He's nursing great, sleeping lots, and my mom is here taking care of things while I recuperate. I appreciate all the wishes, not much computer time though! Will try to catch up later.
