Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Now I want to call in sick on Saturday......

Would love to meet you all!

Yeah, just never really had a need for a sitter. We swap off, sometimes, hubby to go do non-kiddo things, me to go do chickie/doggie things, but otherwise we're with the boys. We're kind of happy-at-home types, anyway, so no biggie, but it would be nice to go out sometime. :)

Yeah, Waukesha isn't too far, I work there. Unfortunately, when I'm in Waukesha, I'm running my tookus off solid until I can escape back to my little piece of heaven. LOL

Quote: The fair ground might charge fees ..even for parking..I am not sure. This is my first time at this show. Most shows I have attended there is an entrance fee of some kind be it parking or some other fee. I have also been to them when there is no fee. I read all my paperwork and it does not state any fees for parking or entrance.

Hi All!

Vicki... cool deer! Where did you find the article? My 2nd son wanted to read it and I couldn't find it on line.

Angie.... How about "Peggy" (Bundy) for a tractor name ? Well, maybe not, she may never work!

TO.... Doesn't looking at a box like that just make you feel so good!? Like all that work is worth it! Good luck on your babysitting! Hope you can get rid of what's been getting your ducks!

Irish.... glad you found a home for your naughty roo.... mine wound up supper!

Sclark.... Wow, sucks about the hatch. Sure wasn't your year for hatching I guess. WOW, sorry about the dogs! Glad it wasn't worse.

JJ... Hope you dog is catching on. Mine just but a hole in my turkey's new tail feathers!!!

LOL about the wild hens and babies moving in!

cuties.... poor dog! Sure hope the neighbour's dog learns a lesson!

Hurley.... Good job to you and the hens!

BL4.... I heard you coughing and sneezing too. Must be "chicken flu". Heard it gets real bad about the 4th day! But once you get past that you'll be fine

Those crazy, desperate, birds! I blocked off the loft area with a flight net. There was a 2x4 from one side to the other they had been roosting on and I left it there so the netting wouldn't sag. Some of those crazy birds managed to get up on the 2x4 under the net! They look so silly flat on the board with the net over them!

Young Son (Jon) called tonight. Got a surprise today. Before they (he and his boss) left, the owner made his boss general manager of all the shows. Well, today he had to fire some people (for stealing) and afterwards they were talking about it. His boss says "Well, if I'm general manager now, and your my right hand man, I guess that makes you my assistant manager."

Said Jon was one of the few people he's had work for him that he really trusts and has brains and work ethic enough to do the job! What the hell! The kid goes from a "hawker" to "assistant manager" of a multi-show company in 10 weeks!!! Good thing he's smart, he's going to have allot to learn! He'll only have a few shows/fairs to catch on because he'll have to run them while his boss goes to check other ones and make sure they are doing what they are suppose to do. Sure hope this works out for him! Guess we did something right. lol

Well, time to get the ff ready for morning.... night all!

Just for fun :)

Cind, sounds like you have raised a fine young man!!

Clark, sorry about the dog situation. Do some obedience with the new one. Maybe even sign up for a class. Sounds like dog thinks he is in charge.

Melissa, I can hear that cough all the way here ;-)

Teri, I hope you get rid of that fox pretty quick!

Leaving the chickens out today... I am nervous. But there is only one way to tell. I hope this works.

Hi all--interview went well I thought.  I only met the 4 YO but she seems well behaved.  The parents are great.  The 2 YO was sleeping.

I wormed the batch that yours and Al's were from Vicki--I kept going out every hour or so to look...I found NOTHING!  In the morning (they drank all of the medicated water) they were very thirsty and I gave them water.  All I observed was brown liquid poo--no worms--no blood.  I am anxious to hear what Cuties finds...

JJ--loved the "post" post!  I hope you are able to eat those turkeys!  Mine are so personable it is crazy!

I am beat and there is yet another wild day tomorrow...better get out and lock up.  I seemed to be missing A LOT of ducklings the past few days...I hear a ruckus about 5 AM every morning.  I am wondering if the fox is back?

Nighties!  TErriOlookingforwardtoeatingthathubbardsquash

ETA: Congrats Connie!!!!

I can still supply pics if I didn't delete them :sick :sick . Hershey poop? Never had that happen with wazine. (Used it before) Always does with the valbazen. Hit my other girls with that and my yard looks like melted chocolate everywhere!! :lau.
Were they on only wazine for the full 24? Odd only ours would have worms, especially as bad as poor pepper had them. Curious to see (ummm, NOT see I mean know!) What Cuties results were.

How are you doing? Are you feeling better? Now I need breakfast if I can get those pics out of my head!!!

ETA - Read Cuties post. Glad her babies were all good. She's got to let me know what Delisha taught her. I hate using chemicals if I don't have to.
