Hi all! Since getting Tiny Dancer chicken has become less of a snugly chicken but at the same time im happy for her she is my little pride and joy. And to be fair it was pretty much love at first cluck. Now that chicken has also regained her strength and weight and has been getting major noms for being so cute (tomatos everyday and other things). We are now getting an egg everyday with out fail wich for a sphithuaben I think is pretty darn good. Tiny Dancer has still yet to lay an egg im weirded out by her deffdently not a roster though... and if she wasnt before she should be of age now. The chickens will soon be moved to the gerage instead of the back porch this will happen one there pen is built so no more sharing with the dogs. The trail has pretty much gone cold on finding my other girls all i can hope for now is that there new owner is nice and has treated them for lice. hope everyone is doing well!

I guess I am lost...you might have to refresh my memory since I have a tiny one and it is abused, over worked, and simply malfunctioning 93% of the time.

I sort of recall a long time ago someone had some of your birds at her house and gave your birds away because you do not have a place for them(coop) and they thought they were doing the right thing but did not ask you before doing it.

Yes my "friends" at the time decided they were done keeping chickens and told me to find them a new home and when I went to go pick them up my lone Chicken was there 30+ birds were gone and I was never notified. they had more then the ability to keep them they just decided not to.

Good to hear you saved the springer bl4. Amazing what a normal life with contact can do for them. I would be ugly if I was locked in a closet all day to. Way to go!

Good Luck with the gun hunt cs...hope you find it, that would be neat. Hope you can convince the city folks that chickens aren't nasty, their nice! I love folks that enjoy wild game...yep, had some bear sausage going around Friday night at the bash....wasen't tammy part of your clan? Shoulda seen the look on her face when I told her it was bear sausage...LMAO she didn't want another slice..what the heck ? It is delish...TO thought it was goodie!

Huntress...Congrats on the free bear meat! We really enjoy it here. The roasts are really goodie and make the whole house smell wonderful when they are roasting. Lucky for you, and I hope your customer never finds out what quality meat he just gave away...LOL!

Really nice to meet you and your hubby and mom Irishrovr.....wish we coulda talked more. Maybe you can make the bash next year, even for a couple hours. Thanks for the support of the chicken dinner....we didn't let anyone know that the main menu was chicken...LOL!

Glad to hear you are alive raim. Sounds like you are busy enough.....ahh to be young and thin again..or even just young.

Cuties...sounds like you are filling that barn right up. The B's are doing great. I have them in with the buckeye pullets. Everyone is getting along great. You just gotta love those clumbsy males. He is quite the boy!

Cind....I'm trying my darndess to get er done. I'm blaming it on slow and old...it better happen this week or I'll be hunting late season. I think I'm becoming part tree...I'm almost grafted!

We feed the birds leftovers....sometimes it chicken...they love all the scraps we share with them.

wish they had a toot the horn. I'd give er a toot!

Almost forgot..we served 359 folks at the chicken dinner. Suzie made 2 pumpkin pies and a mince meat. The mince meat was a hit. Not a lot of folks make those anymore.

We feed the chickens chicken. They love meat. When the dogs get their bones, the chickens steal them! It is the funnies thing to see! Only the hound dog tries to keep his bone. He runs away, and the seco d he tries to lay and chew, the chickies are on him!! Very comical lol.

I do not work tomorrow. I feel very content only worked one 12 hour day this week the rest were all 8!

HAHAHAHAHA! I somehow cant see Cuties getting a pedi and a massage! I think she would rather come on down here and go for a horseback ride! (I know I would--and coincidentally, I too have the day off!)

We just got back from Mariachi's Mexican Restaurant. Always good food. I had shrimp tacos--YUMMY! Man can I ever tell that the restaurant/bar in Milford that had the fire a few months ago is back open now! Our road is more heavily traveled again...especially about 2AM! Soon we will nave the snowmobilers flying between the bars at that hour--right under our bedroom window!
