Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

What a beautiful day here in WI. Too bad it isn't going to last

more snow tomorrow. So today I took advantage of the warm day and cleaned out the coop, put in new bedding and let the girls out to play. They were NOT too sure about playing outside, but under their coop is a really nice sandy dirt spot that they couldn't resists. Now I have some VERY DIRTY girls!!! LOL but I think they are happier!
I was really surprised to see them venture up the path to the house!! Quite brave! I think they were trying to figure out where their normal fun spots were and maybe if they kept walking they would get out of this white stuff!!! I WISH!!
I hope everyone is ready for tomorrow... stay safe and I hope it all melts soon.!!
Cute Chick picks everyone!!! I guess I'd better get to ordering the ones I want...

Do you see our regular spot anywhere???

Happy Girls in Fresh bedding!!

The chicken herder Bella

Bella and her flock :) ... well the brave ones anyway that actually ventured out!

Sunny Afternoon before the storm to everyone....nope it aint lookin like it bl4.....and then back in the deep freeze next week. Just got back from cleaning out the snow at Camp, and will prolly have to go back there Friday morning for the folks coming in for the weekend....sick of Winter here for sure.
It's pretty in the woods though.

You should be able to get the coverage you NEED sclark for more than half off what you are paying...get er done...pay less for more coverage...you are getting ripped with your provider. I wouldn't wait one minute to move my coverage.

Nice chick pics..thanks for sharing. They fluff up fast after looking so drown in the bator....amazing in that special way.

Suzie just pulled fresh hamburger buns and a loaf of bread from the oven...just prior to that, was a fresh made apple pie....dang.... gonna need a good long walk to burn some fat. The buns are so easy to fill with good stuff....

Het beanze, good luck with the hatch!
Del, yes. One sl hatched. Must ne something going on... finally! Except now they don't lay :'(
Thought I put a list up the other day what all hatched
I did help ons blrw out of the egg. It seemed shrink wrapped. The little guy seeks a little slower then the others. Sucks too. He is big, and way darker then the others.
Hw y Jim, guess I should follow hands off. I sappose there is a reason he wasn't getting out on his own. But t is so hard when they are struggling and stuck in there to just let them die :'(

Crappy crappy days at work lately. It is hard to come in. Wish I didn't have to constantly work 12 hours. But I have been here almost 15 years. It is scary to even think of the possibility of making any kind of change. It is a good job. And I have a good amount of seniority built up.
Wish I had the balls to quit and try to start up a dog obedience training facility. Oh well.

Start doing what you love on the side until you're sure it will pan out for you financially - then cut the cord when you're in the right place. You're young enough to start something new!!

good afternoon,
well, I got half of my wish,, all of the snow hanging over the edge of the garage roof fell down..
I was out there and chased the geese away from there a couple of times,, then I finally just chased everyone into the coop and locked the door.. I hated to do that, because it is so nice out,, but at least I saved them from getting crushed.. they can come out again when it cools off..

it was sooo nice walking around outside without a heavy coat and mittens on.. bare arms and feeling the heat from the sun.. now I am spoiled and hate to see the minus temps coming next week..

I wanted to go pick up some guineas today, but I couldn't get hold of bro Dave..

speaking of Dave,, where is Otonoh ? another lost member..

I just found out today, that GS has sneaked a cat into the house,, I am not happy about that..

I wonder what Puppy will do when he sees it ? chomp chomp ..

Puppy went for his rabies shot today.. he was a perfect angel.. hopped right into the car and laid down on the seat.. didn't go after the vet's dog, let the vet do all his poking and prodding and refused the treat after the shot ..

the puppies just started barking and squealing,, somebody let Dora in.. I guess I should go up and see who came in ..

..........jiminwisc.........

ETA: I can't believe I am going to have the last word today ?

Kj, sounds like you and I had the same idea! I decided that since it felt like spring I should do a spring clean :)
Jim, I like our picture!
Irish, maybe some day. I do volunteer for 4-h dog training. And love it! Our first class for this year is tomorrow night :) I have been doing it for 13 years. And was I the class when I was young. It feels like home there.

I hope this works, not letting me reply!
I took one of my horses for a ride tonight...I should have picked a different one for sure! I got on at the picnic table (like usual) and headed to the path...then he fell down in a drift or hole. I had my SS coffee cup in my hand andit made contact with my cheekbone and the ground! OOWWW! We went back to the table and I got back on and we rode up to the road and headed North again. We were on a back road and a car cam around the curve and stopped then turned his lights OFF when he saw us! Brodie saw the reflection and spun and I ended up on the ground with him standing on my leg! OOOWWW again! Well the guy started his car up and backed up! I just want to tell people that if they see a horse and rider on the road to just go on past! Dont slow down, dont blow the horn, dont stop and turn off your lights, JUST DRIVE ON PAST! (maybe move over a little) Cripes!
Anyhow, I am sore and I am going to bed! Nighties--TerriO

Terri O, I hope you feel better in the morning and that your leg and cheekbone heal quickly.
