I'm going to try to post a couple pics of a rooster I adopted last weekend. I was told he's a Colombian Wyandotte. I don't know enough about them to debate but the pics I've seen of them don't entirely match. He's a cream color (is that considered white to some people?) with lots of splash and his black tail has an iridescent green in it. His legs are darker than yellow but not black?He is pRetty skittish but everyday gets easier for him.
He's So handsome! So that I don't lose this post, I'll put his pics in a separate post!

Happy Good Friday all!!

I'm returning from Florida with the warm weather tied to the back of my car. It's being stubborn, doing a lot if kicking and screaming. I will hold onto it for as ling as I can!!

Thanks 1876! I'm thankful for the warmer weather for sure!
DH hates them on the porch! That's his #1 rule, though I find it impossible to follow! LOL

Gorgeous day out today! And getting warmer too... feels sooo good after this recent cold snap. Just makes for a really slippery driveway with the latest snow still there...

Another duckling hatched this morning and another breaking its way through in the hatcher. So far I seem to be lucky as I think I got 3 females and 1 male Saxony, plus one female Ancona ducklings. Gotta wait on the late starter now though...

All in all they seem all fine and chase each other around the brooder, feeping away happily. So I'm gonna go back to enjoying watching them and the nice weather (door wide open!) and look forward to having a nice warm Easter weekend! Sooo, HAPPY EASTER from the Northwestern part of the boonies to everyone here!

well, as of 11:3o AM today, I am puppyless..

Kendra left about 12:3o PM..

I had a nice visit,, she was very patient and listened a lot..

the sun is out and it feels kinda warm.. at least the snow is melting ..

HELLO !!! Just warning !! I'm Back ! Just wanted to say Happy Easter to you all !!

I'm going down to Racine for Easter and for my nieces baby shower (a nephew this time) but I plan on trying to catch up.

Been Busy AND lazy. Did any of you miss me ? Ok, buy for now !!

It's Easter and look who comes back from the dead ..
Now if Tomski would come back, I would start believing in miracles..
