Well, we are home and have introduced the puppy to Gracie (our terrier mix) and the chickens. He pretty much ignores them all, being the content pup that he is. I got the collar and leash on him and did about 10 minutes of work with him already. He seems to understand that when I tug it means I want him to walk. Great progress! Great introductions to all family members (human, chickens, rabbits, and dog). He does want to come inside with us however and DH keeps insisting that I let him in. I said that will just make him think he is supposed to be inside.

I had a great visit with bl4 & Jim. Thank you both for having us over. It was great to see your homes and now I'll know who and what you are talking about. Sorry if we didn't have enough time to relax and talk, I wanted to get home before dark. Now I am very tired from driving. Is there a snore emoticon? This one will do

There's certainly no shooting anyone, just wondering what he is!
He actually spent most of the day out of the coop roaming around with the girls. It's been pretty funny watching him get only so far from the coop, look at the hens, then the coop, hens, BEE Line for the coop as fast as he can go!
He was hatched in the fall and I'm pretty sure this is his first time free ranging. He's come a long way in a week.

CS, Congrats on the pup!

Well after a well deserved nap, I set up a hang out for the pup. Pup is nervous on his 1st night alone, outside and in a new place. I feel for him, but have to make him stay out there!

I will only say again...if anyone has anything really important to say to me, please PM! These foster dogs, their requirements, the farm, my 4 jobs(and now a few more) are taking up my time! I am now over 275 posts behind...yeah, not catching up any time soon!
I am posting my last years' Olive egger roos on CL. If anyone needs them for breeding or increasing bird size I will give them to you...I am sure the rest of these pretty birds will go for meat. TerriO

TO-yep, I got the last pup. We have no name yet, but are working on it. So far he is a quick learner, very gentle, stays by my side, and doesn't like being alone. LOL

Welcome back zeke, TO, FT!
