Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

DH and I are heading out to install a window and door into the machine shed. We don't have cable or satellite, so the only way to catch the Packer game is on the radio. Might as well get something done while we are listening to the game! :)
So much to do before the snow flies, but we are getting stuff done.
DH is starting too many projects I fear. Trying to keep him focused on what he has started, but it is too easy to get distracted.
We have someone coming out to measure for windows for the house, and we will have the pellet insert delivered and installed in about a month. At the end of next month, our office set will be delivered, so that gives me some time to get that room sorted and cleaned out.

Have a good Packer Sunday!

Does anyone in North Eastern Wisconsin want some Turkey poults? I got some from Porter's Rare Heritage Turkeys. The minimum order was 15, I don't need that many! Sadly I lost a few due to the stress of shipping, but the rest are little troopers, ready to take on the world!

I have six turkey poults available. I am linking to their respective pages on Porter's Rare Heritage Turkeys so you can see pictures of them. Three are penciled palms, which are stunning birds. And three are chocolate palms, which look like royal palms wrapped in delicious fudge! Each poult is $10, which is exactly what I paid for them.

They are all too young to sex, as I cannot vent sex.

You shpuld make a do not trespassing sign with that picture laminated on it! Thunder is buddy sour. Even tho we are sure to ride every day. I suppose it is not a big deal. But I hD hopes of keeping it from happening. We are going to enlist the advice of our trainer neighbor. Just to be sure we are doing things right. I am also going to get syd some lessons as she is now a little scared. He ran her back to the barn today. And she was freaked! We went back out. And I made her ride longer. But she mosy cried the whole time :( I want her to enjoy him. And normally we can. Just about once a week he has an off day. We did not ride yesterday because his bridle was broke. But I ran to fleet today to get a new headstall. And it is real nice :) we will keep at it. Weirdest thing, the young Silver Laced Wyandotte cockeral went after the mother duck today. I was running to her rescue. But did not need to. The entire gang of ducks (minus the babies) ganged up on that little cockeral and chased him off. Sydneys big crested named Ducky was at the head of the pack! Too funny! the kiddos are full of it tonight. You would think they were cooped up. Making mom a little crazy! I think it might be an early to bed night ;) Thunder and I will be sore durring our ride tomorrow. As we kept at it for almost three hours until he settled a bit. He was sweaty for sure! We set out comes, and I have him do 8's and walk different directions through. Blake also loves them for his 4-wheeler. Clark, I hope you are able to sell off those chicks. Sounds like a lot to winter! I am slowly downsizing. Sis is taking a bunch of BLRW so she can have all the eggs. And she will seperate and breed them in spring for me. Sounds like a sweet deal for sure!! the neighbor (crazy cat napper) moved out. I was relieved. But my calico went missing the same day she left. I first thought coincidence. But I now think she took her. I cought her with two other cats of ours (with collars and rabies tags) in her house. I am very sad about my kitty. But relieved she(neighbor) is gone. well, guess I better get thi gs done! hope you have all had a wonderful weekend! !

I wish you were closer. I love the pencilled palms. I would take all 3. You're not going to the Portage show, by chance, are you?

good evening,
not much going on here,, bro Dave is bow hunting on the back edge of our land.. sees deer almost every time out there.. nothing close enough to shoot at yet..

I have been selling guineas like crazy this past week,, 10 to one lady, 20 to another, then this morning the 10 lade came and took 27 more.. and the 20 lade took 10 chicken roosters..

and I just got off the phone with a man who will take all I can catch.. I figure thee are at least 40 left out there..

this downsizing thingy is going really well right now..

I would like to have zero guineas by winter.

I would be satisfied to have zero laying hens also..

I have to keep the old colored rooster, a pair of geese and old Tom the royal palm turkey..

I wonder what it would be like to have a 50 pound bag of feed last for a month.. ???

Cind, what about the black walnut ink ??
If you need the nuts or/and husks, let me know soon,, otherwise the squirrels will get all of them.

Hi All!

Well, when I talked to my buyer about ink he was gun-ho about the walnut.... now he want's mostly black and red. I can do those too. I'll just use a little walnut in them to deepen and fix the color. I told him once I get my supplies together there is no changing his mind!

Sclarck.... neat what you did for those kids!

BBP.... Love the Pic! I fear if I tried to emulate the shirt.... it wouldn't have quite the same effect!
