Sick birds on the show floor. People selling birds with obvious signs of respiratory diseases. I don't know if people just don't care or pay so little attention to their birds that they don't know.
I went to the show on Sat. morning, but rode my bike so then wouldn't be tempted to bring anything/body home with me. My buddy said I could probably get one in each saddlebag. I did mention BYC to several people and they had heard of it, but weren't members. Saw lots of very cool chickens.
The thing that I noticed is how BIG some of the chickens were. Mine are quite small in comparison. I'm mostly thinking about the buff orpington hens. Man those things were huge! Mine are approx 16 wks old.
So, here is my question: Does anyone here caponize? I'd love to have a rooster, but this would be the only option.
