I actually had heard that from someone else. Sometimes there is no way around it.

I have not had issues with diseases or worm, pests...so I don't treat.

I agree with all stated already for chicken killers.

I heat the water once temps dip below freezing and heat the coop if temps go below zero. I only have one lamp available instead of heating the entire coop.

Fish sleep in the freezer!

I second all of the above but I want to know..... Who sleeps with the fishes??

Oh My Afternoon All....Cind that's a long post for you, and to think you had nothing to say so many nights, you musta had your thoughts by the balls....and now I know for sure that fish indeed do sleep. No Cabin Fever among us here.

Just figure it's like retirement bl4...no need to be bored...just go fishing! The fresh fish through the ice are as good as fresh fish gets! Plus cleaning fish keeps you busy.

Leftover soup tonight...the big kettles are enough for a couple meals here.

Hello all. Just as it warms up, it is getting colder again outside and is supposed to snow this weekend. 49 days until Spring!

Brought home some unwanted furniture from work over the past few days. Got some wooden cabinets, wooden filing cabinets and shelving. It really sucks to see perfectly good furniture go to waste. The construction guys have probably redone their homes with all of the stuff that we are getting rid of.

Not much else here.
