hope everyone had a Great Easter Celebration! We were in Appleton at my brother's...always nice to see the family all together...a little sad cause Dad wasnt there; well my brother did bring him in his urn....Soon we will all be meeting at the cottage and spreading his ashes. I ate way too much and am suffering the worst hearburn right now! Serves me right I guess...I shoulda taken that nap when we got home instead of pulling out dry stuff in the front garden; feels good to have it done though!

This is being dumb and hesitating when I type so I guess I will go and lock up. Nighties! TerriO

Happy late Easter everyone! Didn't do anything for Easter. Had duck egg and cream cheese pancakes for breakfast and supper (muscovies for supper) made with sugar free chocolate chip cookie dough torani syrup and cream cheese ! Yum!
ET was busy collecting sap again today and I was untangling dreadlocks from my fresians mane all day. That and checking periodically on my eggs that were suppose to hatch Saturday for the Easter Hatch A Long.
No such luck.....ziltch.... I even taped the bator closed.... got fed up and around 10 pm candled them all again. Low and behold there was life in one ! Was just about to call it a night. Came in here for one last check for the night and there is a huge hole in an egg. And a gasping beak sticking out. Yipeee! Looks like I'll be up all night.....it did seem like it was having a hard time zipping so I helped. Funny thing is that it came out of egg number 9 and number 10 is the one I thought I saw movement....

Irish sorry to hear your sad news.

No jumping the gun here.....the girl at the clinic doesn't have the calls. She knows someone who has them. Couldn't talk much because she was working at the clinic (new hire).
I don't like the mallard colors either. If I wanted mallard colored ducks id get mallards.
I read your posts Jim. When/if I find out more I will let you know. My original thought was to trade her goose eggs for call because she supposedly wants to show geese at 4h. But all just hearsay for now.
Little Bunny is doing good. I might just give in to the night and let things happen if they are going to !
Oh and I did find some showgirls chicks. Road trip may a be in order. My goal is to get paint showgirls. A few of my shipped eggs look like they might be developing but my luck no showgirls.

Oh ps...my chick is a Cinnamon Queen (Mom)and Lavender Ameraucana. So that makes HER (positive thoughts here) a split to Lavender Easter Egger who just happened to hatch on Easter !
