Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

We ended up with a Buff Orpington, a Silver-Laced Wyandotte, and three Rhode Island Reds. They're about 2-3 weeks from laying and very calm/tame -- they were raised by a couple 9 year old girls.

Please welcome Sunny, Pollito, Orange, Sonic, and Professor McClucken.

good afternoon, Hmmm I see only two nests,, is that legal ??

that buff sure seems proud of her backside..

the 3 RIR show up as black on my screen,, must be a really deep red...

I just got the garden all planted as far as I am going to go for now..
final tally,, 45 foot long rows..

2 rows of potatoes,
1 rows of white onions
6 rows of peas,, (1/2 pound of seeds)
2 rows of beets with one package of lettuce mixed in..
I left space for 1 row of yellow onions yet..

Not much rain is forecast for here until Sunday.. then possible storms..

my computer is just giving me fits today,, if this keeps up I am going to shut it off and leave it off..

no call about the Sebs,,

that's a long, fun name for your son. What will the chicken's names be? Tell him he is welcome anytime.

Fish Fry Friday To All....great pics glarner and congrats on your new venture!

Bagged my 2nd Tom yesterday...was happy for that. Been planting containers with sparegus seeds, and will see how that goes. Nothing going in the ground yet.

glarner, it doesn't look like you have any wire on the floor of the run? If not, you might want to lay a strip of wire fencing on the ground all around the perimeter of the run to prevent preds from trying to dig under. Just a thought.

Congrats Bigz!
