We have dogwood on the property. It does not look like that, but, what do I know?

zucchini beetles ? I say, let them have them,,, I do not like zucchini ..
I would suggest guinea hens ,,

How come when I am busy outside, I come in and am almost 20 posts behind,,

I am about to put a now condenser into the tractor, If this doesn't work, I am screwed .. I have tested and / or replaced the whole electrical system .

two of the 3 ducklings have died,, I put the last one in with the meatie chicks..
I tried to have the geese adopt him, but he would not go with the geese,, but they tried ..
maybe I will try again after the goose hatches her eggs.. that should be very soon..

no puppies last night.. maybe tonight ??

I think they are cucumber beetles...they invade the squash here too. I use Malathion in the tank sprayer and mix at the weak amount or you will burn the plants....start spraying after they are up and going strong and until they flower...

I would send him home if he had a home other than this one. He has been tied out all day.....reminds me I gotta give him water or let him in for water.....guess I'll let him in otherwise I will have to go out the door twice, once to get the bowl, fill w/ water and then take it back out to him. Be back later.

Connie, with hubby retiring, are you two going to get a T@B trailer & hit the road?

Sorry Sandi. I'd be ticked if I bought a tree from a local store & found out it wasn't for my planting zone. I would love to buy them off you. I just lost another cherry tree over winter. They are pretty temperamental & freeze out easily. Good luck.

The last picture shows the leaves, I found just a few, on the pink tree. I have three other trees if anyone knows what they are. The last few pics, except for the leaves on the table, was bigger last year..a tree fell on one side of it when a friend was cutting down another tree nearby. Each set of pics starts with the long view of the tree itself. I believe those are suckers growing from the base of the last tree. All these trees are in wet area. Our yard stays mushy until about mid July.
This one looks like a horse chestnut. If the pink tree doesn't have thorns, I am guessing a crabapple. I think dogwoods only have 4 petals? It is really hard to tell, but the white one might possibly be an American cranberry bush. Does the fruit stay on it during winter?

and to the Cheesehead thread birds4kids. Hope you like it here.

I don't know if the fruit stays on in Winter or not.....I'll let everyone know this Winter, tho. The image I saw of the American Cranberry Bush has a leaf with three points. Since my leave do not have three points, kinda like an oak leaf, I don't think any of my trees are that. Thanks anyway, I will check out the horse chestnut.
