Just got the call from my daughter that she is going out west to fight the fires.....we were planning on a Birthday party for her daughters this week end, dang...I just hate her having to go into danger....

Life is fragile....enjoy every moment......this truly is as good as it gets... don't take a moment for granted.

Thanks for the kind words...the cheesheads are the best! Still busy here like always...more to do than ambition to do it....must have something with old and feeble .... just feel so bad keeping the flocks locked up when they enjoy their freedom to the point of being vocally upset. I really don't want to feed the vermin, and lose my girls....I was gonna let them out today and stand watch, but decided to wait another day to help make the culprit more brazen and in my sights....

Thanks all for the tips on who had pullets for sale.

In the end we were able to locate light brahmas that we were in search of....and just got back from the road trip.

Back to the grind.
