Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Well, I broke the lawn mover. It won't turn left. I have a feeling it is something simple ... it was working just fine and then WHAM it wouldn't turn left. Turns right just fine, goes straight and back. The wheels just won't turn left. Glad I was finished with mowing for the day.

Sorry to hear about the gosling. So many things can go wrong when they are babies.
I just got my lawn mower repaired for that same reason.
Mine is a Husqvarna. it has two cables. one for turning left one for right ..
what kind do you have ?
remember, U Tube is your friend.. You can look up just about anything on there.

i completely agree. YouTube and Google can fix anything. And I mean everything.

Oh Jim, you crack me up. No I was not being sarcastic, looking at what I wrote now and that does look bad.... I was genuinely thanking you for the gosling. I am sorry it did not make it. :(

Kidnapped the DH today and took him on a tour of Door County, right now we are in Sturgeon Bay waiting for fish boil.

Perfect Summer Sunday weather today, if you like Summer...I do! Those rules for a limited pen of 40 square feet wyo are enough to upset me....really 40 sq ft......that's just not right for the benefit of the poultry.....city folks and their rules is just wrong to me. I'm glad I don't have to deal with any of those folks.

We did a gallon of fridge cukes today, and I picked 6lbs of green beans for the freezer.....looking good with the rest of the garden to come yet.

Peace...bigz

I agree, maybe 40 sq/ft is a typo. ? Might just as well cut their legs off, they wouldn't need them in that small of an area..
maybe they meant 40 feet square ..(1600sq/ft).

I took off the drag and put on the back blade and leveled off the ground I dug up removing those old boards and removing some small trees ..

.............

Nice summer day again. Suzie looked up the ordinance Jim, just to see what it said.....yep, 40 square feet is what it says.....what a joke......little 5x8 pen, not even enough room for a small dog. City rules are stupid in my opinion.

Maybe cut some lawn today if I get some ambition.

Just enough breeze to make it comfortable out there.
I might have a go at some of the lawn too..

maybe those people at city hall are confused between sq/ft and feet/square.. let's hope so.

if I were to be building a fence, I would become "confused" myself and make it 40' x 40' .

the lady from Maple Wisc just called me.. they will come for the puppy on Friday if she can get off of work.. otherwise it will be on Saturday...

.......jiminrottonoldwisc..

I am back, no lawn cutting.
had BLT compliments from the tomato patch.
then I spent the last 1 1/2 hours snapping beans...

DH got the mower working again. I went outside to see how the repairs were going, and he had put the cultivator on it and was weeding his field/garden. I guess a part had rattled loose and was wedged in the way for the wheel to turn. He had to take off the mower deck to get the part out and put back where it belonged so he left the deck off and we are going to use it as the garden tractor we bought it for. We have a commercial grade Zero-turn mower for actually mowing the lawn ...

From scanning the rules, you can make the coop as big as you want, it is only the run that is limited to 40 square feet. I wonder if a 15x30 hoop coop would pass inspection?
